Directly opposite the station, you can people entering and exiting it from the tables outside if you wish, although there’s little room between the front and and the main road down to the sea. Inside is a more comfortable affair with the odd worn down sofa or well used wooden furniture. This worn wooden appearance is part of its appeal although you not rave about it by any means. As a Shepherd Neame pub I was disappointed to only find Spitfire on cask, but it did have two UK contract brews of Hurlinger and Oranjeboom which are produced at the Kent premises as an alternative. Expect locals in the day and a crowd enjoying the live sport in the evening.
