If you can connect with a bartender then you are in good hands. These guys are the nicest anywhere. Like a lot of brewpubs they seem to enjoy packed crowds even when they canít adequately serve the crowd. Go early or late and you will enjoy some great beer.

Not sure how to add to the thousands of RRBC reviews across the interwebs. I am lucky enough to be able to come up here once a week or so. The pizzas are great, the service is prompt and friendly...yadayadayada...RRBC is all about the masterful beers. Every single beer on the board at any time is a phenomenal example of style and craft. Not one of the 19 beers at any given time will be anything less than perfectly executed and wonderfully tasty. And when you thought they couldnít do any better/more for the Beer community - theyíre adding the Sonoma Pride series to the collection. Every beer lover needs to make it a high priority to visit here at some point. I will be heartbroken when this engagement ends and Iím no longer able to bop 40 minutes up the highway for a few pints.

Pretty packed on Thursday night, got a beer at the bar and sat outside on a bench while waiting for our table. Table service was good, a bit spotty towards the end though. Three options for flights available: all of the left board selections, all of the right board selections (Belgians and sours), or all of everything. Lots of drafts to choose from. Half pints available on the left board as well as growlers for beers under 8%. A few average beers but mostly good to great. Food was good, cheese & charcuterie plate, pizza, and Pliny bites (pizza-ish cheese bread with jalapenos) were all tasty. Stopped in the next day when they opened to buy some beers to go before heading out. Quite a few people already lined up before they opened Friday morning. Well worth a stop anytime you can make it.

Visited on several occasions. The defacto standard for how to setup, run, and maintain a world class brewpub that serves their own beer only and food. The brewpub is located in a strip center in the center of Santa Rosa. It has a small patio area and nice setup inside. Beer selection is the american vs belgian board. They always have their great beers on tap Pliny, Blind Pig, Supplication, etc... Any of the American styles are for sale in a growler but the Belgians are not. They have bottles of a handful of them but many are made seasonally. The food is standard pub fare but provides quite a variety for good prices. You can right a book about how well they do things here from the beer, service to the location. Overall, a must visit for any beer nerd. A world class brewpub selling some of the best variety of beers in the world.

As expected, this is a cool place to drink. Lots of tap only Russian River beers, and the classics like Pliny, Supp, and Cons. Pizza is great while drinking Pliny. Very reasonable pricing, especially on Sundays during the all day happy hour. Definitely worth the visit if youíre in the area.

Ah Russian River, we meet again. I used to drive over 2 hours each way to come here for a beer and a growler and now that I live within 30 minutes, still frequent it from time to time. Itís located in a long narrow building in downtown Santa Rosa. The bar is always busy ... really busy. While this isnít at all their fault and really a product of their success and great beer, you need to be in the mood to be in a loud, crowded space where you are rubbing elbows with strangers. The food is decent pub grub (like the pizzas). The sampler is huge and amazing. If you havenít been, you must order it. This is a very nostalgic place for me and while I now feel reluctance to brave the crowds, I still make the trek. I wish they would expand into a bigger location.

This visit was the only thing we ended up doing in Sonoma but in itself well worth the visit. My thoughts largely consistent with previous reports: loud, big vibe, excellent pricing for beer, food pretty decent etc etc. we had to wait 30 minutes for a table but staff were very quick to text us when ready. Service a touch slow but crazy busy so understandable. Pizza options were very good. 20 beers on tap served across pints, halfs and goblets. 6 bottles available for takeaway as well. A deserved mecca.

The legendary brewpub is located a 2 and a half hour bus trip away from San Francisco. Definitely worth the day trip to go there. Full, loud and packed one hour after opening on a Saturday afternoon. Service was really quick though, and managed to grab a seat at the bar right after I walked in after waiting for a couple of minutes in line outside. Sampler of their beers is massive and ridiculously cheap considering the qua lity of the beers. Had a pizza here too, and it was good, although quite greasy. Some bottles available to go as well, although they sold out their cooler full of Pliny in just an hour even though they had a 6 bottle limit per customer. This place would be perfect if they had some guest taps too.

Absolutely packed on a Wednesday afternoon. Still was able to acquire a table for two within a ten minute window. Long bar. A few adjoining rooms and a small outside area. People taking advantage of the incredible weather. Huge sampler available. Tried everything I hadnít had before. Impeccable selection and the quality is unparalleled. Food was average at best. Canít imagine going for an event like Younger. Has to be a madhouse. Quaint. Definitely stop by while in Napa or the surrounding area...you wonít be sorry!
