Quieter spot near the french quarter, with a decent selection of local micros.

A mix of a few local taps and two coolers of bottles. Service and quality was good, solid place.

Found this place during Mardi Gras week, and it became a regular stop on our way in to and out of the Quarter. Very solid bottle/can list, but the draft specials were interesting and often outstanding. For example, I had a Bayou Teche Boucanee (smoked wheat), a Saint Arnold Icon red (dubbel w/ Sorachi Ace hops), and a 40 Arpent milk stout. Also: the fried chicken was killer, and the staff was cool. What else do you need?

Came across this accidentally while wandering the French quarter one morning. Itís quieter than a lot of the other bars around and itís very open allowing lots of sunlight in. They only have a handful of taps but what caught my eye was a biere de mars by LA 31. Other than they have a couple of other locals like Abita, Parish, and Covington. In bottles they have a ton of stuff from all around like Lazy Magnolia, Tin Roof, Bayou Teche, Dixie, and Saint Arnold. You can also get things like Stone, Green Flash, Sierra Nevada, and Sam Adams. I didnít eat because I was going to get some red beans and rice at Mothers later.
