Not bad for a Danish supermarket when visited November 2015. After visiting some other similar shops in the area it seems like everyone has more than less the same selection. This one has the same, but quite a few extras as well, both Danish and foreign. Relatively decent selection of Mikkeller stuff, even a few Three Floyds collaboration, some nice one from Ølsnedkeren and the regular Hornbeer things among some new Amager beers. On the foreign side there is a fair selection from Belgium, England, Scotland and Germany plus some other countries. Nothing really rare, but I had no problems filling up my shopping bag. Did not see the need to ask the staff for anything so I honestly don’t know if they had any knowledge at all. Probably the best one-stop place to go inside the city limits.

Ambience is like a high end groser. Service is not extremely knowledgable about beer, more wine. Selection is fairly good. Beers are medium to high priced.

Disappointing beer selection at my recent visit, there was some refurbishing going on, and it seems like the beer shelves had suffered. More foreign beers than Danish, but most of them easy accesable elsewhere. Would drop by next time as well, because this wasnt impressive at all.

Aarhus is a funny town: there’s a fancy wine boutique on every corner but not a single beer specialist. Thus, the grocery store in the basement of the second biggest department store is essentially your only option for purchasing fine beers. Although, if you are looking for the more traditional, regional Danish breweries, any large grocery store is a good stop. Salling has a big selection of high-end Danish beers, including two full shelves of Mikkeller and To Øl. There are also a few offerings from the other nordic countries, and then the same euro beers you find everywhere. They don’t have everything, but it’s hard to complain about a grocery store with Westv. XII on the shelf.

The best place to go for a bottle in Aarhus. Unfortunately that is not saying all that much. Decent selection. Not a lot of change in the selection though.

This is basically a luxury supermarket - loads of nice food, fish, cheese etc. but also a very decent beer selection - among the best in the Aarhus area deffinately. Worth a visit.

Part of the food / wine department of a big grocery shop. Very central location just in center of town. Solid selection of danish microes, Mikkeller, Amager, Hornbeer, etc. Som imports aswell, a few american, english and belgiums etc. Sadly the selection have gone very downhill over the last year or so. Proberly mainly due to not having any beers for Drikkeriet any longer. Also looks like some of the bottles are sitting alot longer on the shelfs these days. Not much knowledge to speak of, otherwise nice service. Not beer releated, but wine, spirits, meat and fish sold here are of very high quality here. Quite pricy.

I had been told that this place did not have as many good beers as they used to have. Would have liked to see the place when it was even better because I was actually quite impressed with the selection they have now. One 4-5 meter wall with Danish micros, one wall with good foreign beers, and then of course the standard Danish macros. Price lavel is as in the rest of Denmark relatively high. Saw staff in the wine department, why nobody in the beer department?
