Country pub on the outskirts of Berkeley. beer range covers five frequently changing real ales from the likes of Cotswold Spring, Bristol Beer Factory, Severn Vale and Newmans, plus up to 8 real ciders with the usual industrial keg stuff. Service was very friendly and the locals were welcoming. An excellent example of a successful community pub which deserves its title of CAMRA South West pub of the year 2010. UPDATE August 2013: landlord retired but his replacements have carried on the good work. Beer range is now a bit more adventurous - Arbor and Moor make an appearance, and more ciders are on offer. Still very good. September 2014: awarded South west region CAMRA pub of the year again.
