58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 9/20 womencantsail (390) Garbage Grove, California | November 25, 2012 Kind of an old-timey atmosphere inside. Small bar with a large bar area, decent amount of regular tables/seating. Service was pretty good, beers were okay, and prices were decent, too. Didn’t see the food, so can’t comment on that. Eight house beers and a few guest taps as well. | 58 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 Ober (57) Bommelerwaard, Netherlands | August 21, 2012 A nice place to be, with friendly staff. They serve good food, foor a good price. I wish the beers where as good as the atmosphere and the food. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 jeremytoni (139) Swedesboro, New Jersey | February 27, 2011 Decent selection of their beers, food and service. Nothing too special. | 54 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 11/20 Ungstrup (345) Citizen of the universe, Denmark | November 7, 2010 Another mall located brewpub - we had a bit difficulty locating it at the mall. Arrived right after a very busy lunch hour. We just had the beers - only 5 when we visited - and some of them of very scetchy quality. Lots of wood in the dining area. high tables in the bar area - dark wooden. The prices are fine. If you are a ticker - stop by for the ticks - if you enjoy good beers go somewhere else. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 wetherel (83) Encinitas, California | August 2, 2007 They serve 7 average beers of their own. Some rotation, but it doesn’t change often. A not-so special brewery-restaurant, serving American food. Better than going to most American chain restaurants, Applebees, etc. Churchill’s is just across the street, so it’s probably better to eat/drink there, unless you’ve been there a million times. | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 badlizard (130) Berkeley , California | June 14, 2007 Decent overall. The beer’s above average, and it’s a nice change of scene from Stone. Who knew there were other breweries in the area? Just a stones throw (no pun intended) from Churchill’s, this place is worth a visit. The service was average and the food was less than inspired, but I think I’ll be back again anyway to try some other seasonal/ specialty beers. Their beers tend toward the yeasty and crisp finish side, and some are quite good. | 58 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 BückDich (215) McCall, Idaho | April 3, 2006 Inside is well lit with murals on the walls, balconys and an odd tile floor that looks like this place was an un-converted ex-mexican restaurant. The service was good, the bartender helped me out very nicely. Most of the beers were mediocre, but a few stood out. They even have 2 of them on cask! Nice. The overall scene and ambiance of this place just killed it for me. Didn’t check out the menu or anything. | 22 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 1/10 SELECTION 2/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 4/20 1FastSTi (103) Glendale, Wisconsin | March 14, 2006 Nice atmosphere, awful service, crappy beer. Don’t visit this place. I went because I was driving past. I shoulda kept driving. Only redeeming factor is the attractive blond waitresses. They don’t have good beer and don’t carry anything but their own. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 PadronMan (1) California | February 4, 2004 I love this place. Beers change at times with the staple staying the same. Can always count on some great seasonals. |
