Not the biggest bottle shop I’ve ever been in, but one of the friendliest. The size doesn’t prevent Sandy’s from having a really good selection of brews, you’ll leave happy with some treasure you found!

This is probably your best bet for finding decent craft beer in Newport at a bottle store. The selection isn’t mind blowing and the prices are a nip high, but they tend to cover all the important bases of import, national, regional, and local.

Sandy’s Liquors has one of the best selections in Middletown. The staff is always friendly, cheerful and willing to help. A few times they gave me a free pint glass with my purchase. Selection includes a good number of 22oz from White Birch, Fireston. Berkshire, Lagunitas to name a few. Good selection of 4 packs from Sixpoint, Green Flash and clown shoes. This is not just my favorite spot in Middletown for beer, but probably the best on Aquidneck Island.
