Sapphire Mountain Brewing Company is merely a restaurant which has its beers contract brewed for them by Thomas Creek. There were only two Sapphire Mountain brews on but the rest of the tap space was devoted to micros and mostly selections from WNC including Green Man, Nantahala and Highlands. The bottle selection is not interesting. This is basically an old wooden house and retains the inviting ambiance of such. The bar is rather small considering the size of the rest of the property. I would come back in the spring to take advantage of the nice, large outdoor garden area which we could not enjoy on the chilly February evening. The menu looks to be solid though I chose to leave my stomach empty for Guadalupe’s Cafe across the street. It’s a solidly chill place to enjoy a quality brew.
