Odd location, but would visit again! | 36 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 3/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 9/20 frylock (80) Atlanta, Georgia | August 3, 2010 Wow... where to start? Located in a strip mall pretty far outside the center of Ithaca. Strangely decorated in old newspapers. Its a bar with a few tanks behind it that leads into a take out pizza joint. No waiters or bartender when we were there on a Friday afternoon. You go to the counter to order your food and beers. The burger I got was actually pretty good and the fries were solid, if a little under cooked. The beers on the other hand were some of the worst examples of commerically available beer I have ever sampled. Infected extract beers that all tasted the same. They had a Hefe, "Red Ale" (which was golden in color), Dark Bock, and Black and Tan on tap. I ordered a sampler and couldn’t even finish a single one of the 4oz pours. An interesting experience but not one I wish to replicate. |
