Had an excellent visit to the Tap Room. Had lunch and sampled a few of their brews. Excellent service in an excellent setting. First class operation. Food was very good as were the beers. Think a must stop if in St. Louis.

Really cool building and the ambiance is really nice. Kind of feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere though in relation to the rest of downtown St. Louis. Great service and beer selection. Food was ok, a little bland though. Neat place

June 26, 2012 - Really enjoyed my visit here and it was rather unexpected. The brick building was awesome, there was patio seating, a separate bar area and pool tables. A sampler of six 5 oz. pours for $7 was unreal, just wish they could step up their game a tad with the quality in their selections. Service was okay, the waiter seemed to want us out of there because we sat at a table and just ordered beer without food. Maybe it was a manager, but another employee stopped over and talked beer with us, which was cool. Would visit again next time in St. Louis.

Pretty cool place. We went on a Saturday night and there was live music on the bar side. We sat on restaurant side and had samplers. There were probably 12 Schlafly beers on tap, including a few that I haven’t seen in bottles. A good place to take an out-of-towner for a night on the town, especially if they aren’t familiar with Schlafly beers.

Great place, best place in St Louis and my favorite pub within about 400 miles of here. Every time they have something different and new, and it’s always delicious. On cask beers are rare in the US, but Schlafly Taproom always has them, and they’re great. The service is wonderful, they always take care of me big time. The beer is fantastic. Schlafly is one of the best breweries in the US. The food is great, you’ve gotta try the coconut curry mussels if you like seafood. Even the simple chicken salad sandwich is wonderful, and you must try the beer cheese soup! Grab a growler or a big bottle or a mixed sixer on your way out too. There’s no point in going to St Louis if you’re not going to visit the Taproom.

They have a nice little restaurant at one end, with a bar, and a view of some brew tanks. At the other end they have the more traditional bar. They have almost all their beers on tap, for a really good price, and all their beers bottled for sale as well, and you can get the bottles to go. They also sell growlers. The food was exceptional, I was entirely surprised. The servers are knowledgeable and generally really nice. My only caveat was that the food was a tiny bit expensive, but well worth the price for sure.

big place at the edge of downtown, totally dead on Thursday of the World Series, older looking place inside, not much character at the bar, but they did have a small lounge area with leather furniture and steel table that was awesome... draft selection was pretty good, 6 of their regular beers then about 8 seasonal beers, tons of bottles but stuff you can get anywhere... service was great, knowledgeable and friendly... high recommend

emailed in advance regarding the filling of other breweries growlers and got a response from stephen who said it was fine. visited on a monday afternoon and wasted most of an hour discussing beer with bartender paul. stephen came out and joined the lively discussion. two casks, both full. numerous taps, had the falafel, it was excellent. curry ketchup was bonkers. service is an easy 10, this qualifies as one of a few ’peak beer experiences’ ive had over the years. thanks guys.
