When I was there, it was a bIt of a shithole, to be honest. Surprisingly popular though. If you go inside, youíll die like one of Phillip Morrisí test beagles, and if you prefer staying alive and staying outside, youíll still get a fair amount of smoke, but also get the smell of drains too. House beers were mostly poor. Cash only, which is pretty bollocks this far into the 21st century. Got the place tick, got the brewery and 6 beer ticks, so thatís it, Iím not coming back. Wow, Iím amazed I managed to write a whole review without mentioning gas chambers!

Now this is a small place. We were unfortunate and visited it after a football match (FC Union Berlin stadium is like 2 tram stops away) so it was absolutely packed. And full of cigarette smoke. Call me a snob, but Iím not used to it anymore. Service was friendly and quite fast. I do mind a bit how they pour out beer. Bit too splashy in some occasions. Cash only. Prices werenít too bad.

Super pub in a greenhouse style building in town square. Very interesting range of beers.

Excellent place! 6 brews (including one brewed by ancient Babylonian recepie!) all are real good. Place itself is very small & very unusual, but very good, and the brewery they have is the smallest one I have ever seen!

looks more like a tourist info booth from outside! I quite liked it, though we went at a quiet time so didnít suffer the smoke issue others report. Found the beers hit-and-miss, did rate the chilli cherry though! and tbh in Germany itís nice to find something other than helles, dunkel, bock and Weiss...

The smallest brewery of Germany is something like 40 square meters. It is located in a nice area in KŲpenick district and offers only 5 tables inside, but plenty of space outside (which is good when the weather is fine). Yesterday 5 beers on tap available (Helles, Dunkles, Molle, Babylonisch and Dunkelweizen) which is a large selction compared to other berliner breweries. Prices are damn cheap, service is nice, atmosphere is superb. Only locals and in the gentrified Berlin thatís a plus!

Oh my god. Is this a joke? 6 beers where the 5 were horrible. Overly smokey, small and full of drunk locals. The waitress however was kind and helpfull and served us samplers and didnt want any money for it. A long ride to get here and certainly not worth your time unless you are a ticker.

Visited on a Monday lunchtime, Oct í10 (DMís 40th bash). Despite being rather a crisp day we sat outside to escape the cigarette smoke which I see another reviewer has touched on! Only 2 or 3 other drinkers but all chain smoking! Tiny building like a summer house/small sports changing room - which does have a toliet btw! They claim to be the smallest brewpub in Deutschland. The brewing kit is inside the pub and the brewer was working while we were there on some form of bock I believe. Only 2 of their own beers availble on our visit the Dunkel and Helles. Beers were adequate - service decent. Worth a look in.

Visited on the 20/12-2012. Placed a bit outside the city center, just at the local town square. We were very pleased to be able to have a seat, the pub is very small, also very pleased to see they had 6 of their own beers on tap.. BUT not pleased with, that smoking was allowed inside as well. Spoiled the stay a bit, I must say. Very friendly staff, cosy atmosphere among the guests, many seemed to be locals. Would love to come back again, in summertime, so we can be seating outside..

A strange experience worth seeking out, strange (but not bad) beers and unexpected emphasis on the fact that no, the facility itself was not a public toilet, and no, they didnít have one to offer, even for customers. An older crowd for sure but a colorful mix. Service was quick and super friendly. Canít imagine coming here in the winter, but itís great in the summer, lots of room and some decent-enough surroundings, the close-by trams and traffic arenít really that noticeable, and it was nice to grab some ice cream and sit on the water afterward. Very easy to find, S-Adlershof plus about five stops on the tram (I took no. 61), and itís literally right there.
