Classic Bavarian restaurant. Loudy, overcrowded with old paintings on walls and food aromas everywhere. View of huge, wooden tables full of dishes is a standard here. About 8 taps with fresh Schneider weisse beer. Food is a bit overrated in my opinion but beer is ok. Still one of the most interesting places in Munich.
Nice place just around the corner to Marienplatz. Cool interior, okay terrasse. Pretty much the best service we got any of the places we went in Berlin or Munich. Very good selection, very good food. Affordable prices. Went there three times over a week, if it means anything.
Big busy crowded place in the city centre of Munich. Nice atmosphere, traditional surroundings. Fun to take a look around. Service was typical for a busy Brauhaus, but a bit inflexible as we couldn’t order some side-dishes without getting a full meal. Selection consists of a wide range of TAP beers, but not all of the TAP X beers. Value is decent, not as sharp as many other places in Germany but certainly fair. If you like Schneider & Sohn’s beers (and you should), this shall be high on your list when you are in the general area.
Sunny day on our holiday. Sat outside to enjoy some fresh SW beers! Lovely athmosphere. Service wasn’t that friendly though. Older ladies, dressed in drindls. They didn’t speak English that well, and where obviously not that happy with their jobs. Lazy and unfriendly. Selection is ok! All the TAP beers, but not the X-releases. Food: we had the 5 different sausages with sauerkraut... juk... Really not tasty. Value was ok. Overall, I think there are nicer places to go to in Munich (Ayingers by example).
