A great restaurant/sports bar with an extensive menu. Atmosphere is great (indoor and outdoor seating), as is the food. The beer list and service are good as well. Food is a little pricy for burgers and wraps, but it’s delicious, and definitely worth the stop.

Visited here every time I was at IU for my sister. Great amount of drafts, especially for a college town, and solid food.

It’s definitely a college restaurant/bar/pub. Spacious restaurant, not so in the bar area. Beer selection was nice with your regular craft beer brands (Bells, Three Floyds, Rogue, etc.). Beer prices were good. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Went there after a football game. Long wait to get a table. Am thinking the hostesses may have forgotten about us since we got seated 2+ hours later.

Visited Scotty’s after attending the IU game on a Sunday evening. Crowded as you would expect after a game but we were able to have a seat at the bar. Nice selection of tap beers, starting with the macros but I was sble to enjoy a Two Hearted Ale and an Alpha King. They have a decent selection of bottles as well. Pleasnt surprise of selection for what some would consider a sports bar type place. Only negative was they had the Sam Addams Noble Pils on their menu but they did not have it yet. Food was good. We stuck with appetizers (Fried pickles!) and then dessert. Service was what you would expect at the bar for a crowded evening.

Scotty’s is in downtown Bloomington, a few blocks from the IU campus. The 30 taps don’t seem to change very often but have more than a typical college town bar would offer- Chimay, Bells, Three Floyds, Brooklyn, Magic Hat (albeit the most common offerings from each), and the local Upland. The bottle selection is slim but there are a handful of Bells and New Belgium offerings. The food is solid pub fare and the service isn’t bad at all.

Scotty’s is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the bartenders/servers, but am continually upset with slow service and expensive food. Decent beer selection, good food and good people make Scotty’s worthwile.

Great place to come watch a game, get one of a variety of kinds of excellent burgers, and drink from a large selection of great beer.

Not a bad eatery. Good beer, good burgers. Not a bad spot to go to on a Saturday night. Not the biggest selection of beer, a lot of macros, but there’s usually something worthwhile.
