It’s a grocery store with a decent selection. Expensive. Some good beers. Meh.

It is a grocery store, but it has a wall of micros right when you come in, with nice choices, and a section of coolers with more. A tad pricey, but also a bit of a hidden gem - they had Founders Kentucky Breakfast last spring when no one else did - they seem to focus on doing the beer they do really well and stuff rotates through.

This is my local Sendik’s, and I find the beer selection to be very solid. They carry a lot of Wisconsin micros, the full like of Ommegang stuff (even Choc. Indulgence and Ommegeddon), the full line of bottled Goose Island beers (including Bourbon Country IIPA, and the other reserves), Unibroue, Founders, and others. Prices are a hair higher than Discount, but Sendik’s is closer for me. This is a fancy grocery store, which has great produce, about the best cheese fridge, and premium foods/ingredients. I spend a lot of time there.

not sure this really counts as a beer place but whatever.. they have some beer.. I didn’t add it but I go there now and again.. rarely purchase beer here.
