Located in the Westgate Plaza next to Market Basket and close to a Chunky’s Movie Theater, this place is your typical Massachusetts package store with about 95% hard liquor and wine and 5% beer. Their beer selection is not extraordinary but it is not terrible. Macros rule the day but they carry a number regional favorites such as Ipswich, Haverhill, and Berkshire. They have a small shelf toward the back of the store where they display beers by country or state of origin. Beers are mainly shelved or refrigerated by brewer not style. I prefer that method. The staff are cordial and they will help you if asked but they do not go out of their way to do so. Every once in a while you find an oddity for a cheap price like one time I found an 8-pack of Little Kings Cream Ale 7 ouncers selling for $1.99! But for the most part they sell what is readily available elsewhere. I visit this store frequently because I spend a lot of time in Haverhill and I can pick up a few beers here that I cannot find in N.H. But I would not call it a destination bottle shop.
