We visited 23.2.2013. Not far away from Boxing Cat Fuxing Lu West. Nice garden, large pub with 2 floors. Do not drink their own beers. We sampled all of them, very bad and similar after taste. Food is absolutely ok and they have a good range of imported beers (served too cold), although Punk IPA was not available when we tried to order. Music very loud and bad for our choice.

I have been there for many times in one year and my boss from Sweden also like the bar. The peach beer is very fitable for girls and beer beginers. Piza is very good since they made themselves on the second floor. Very good business during the weekend which you canít find a seat if donít book in advance of 2 days in summer days. In my eyes, itís the best in Shanghai.

Tried this place for beers after dinner on a Thursday night. The place was fairly crowded and we had to wait a few minutes for a table to open up in the bar area. I really miss the no-smoking policies of the US. The bar was smoky and didnít seem to have much ventilation. The decor was nice with fermentation tanks (some that appeared to be in use) visible in the bar area. The beer selection was decent with maybe 7 or 8 house brews on tap and another 4 or 5 taps for the usual suspects. The bottle list was respectable. A sampler of 4 of their brews in 200ml glasses was OK priced at 58 RMB. The beers I had in the sampler were all decent, far better than the Tiger, Carlsberg and Tsingtao you find at most places. Service was good with a waitress always around if you needed another. I didnít have any food so I canít comment. All in all, this was a decent place, though I knock down the ambiance a few points for the excessive smoke. I still prefer the Boxing Cat for Shanghai craft brews.
