Modern place centrally located. The beers were as generic as the place, the service, the food.

Few minutes by foot from Independent Square. Some 20 tables outside, inside looks nice. Very crowded place especialy during lunchtim although prices are quite spicy. Only two of four house beers were available plus one seasonal (Oktoberfest). Food looked fine but portions seemed quite small.

Stopped in here to try the beer and get something to eat. Hostess took us upstairs to a smoke-free table by a large window overlooking the street where Independence Day celebrations were going on. They had in their menu a list of five of their beers, but waitress told us they only had two available, both lighter. We ordered a variety of traditonal food that was excellent, including two kinds of dumplings, caviar, & sausage made there. Waitress was enthusiastic if a bit limited in English. Beer was decent. Got some souvenir beer glasses. Bill was a tad steep. Large comfortable place.

Huge modern typical tourist-friendly brewpub with mediocre overpriced house beers. Upstairs has a great view of Khreschatyk St, though, and the service was efficient.

All 4 beers available,can recommend the zolote(gold),a delight,refreshing,crisp beer,well enjoyed!!!

Easy traceable pub in the center of Kyiv. Cozzy look and feel but quickly disappointing. Medium service. No respect for the beers they brew. They tapped by beers and they stood on the counter for at least 5 minutes before they were brought to me. Even though there were 3 to 4 waiters doing nothing at the same time. Mediocre food. Furthermore, only two of the four beers listed were available without any explanation why.

Visited in April 2011 and still pretty well as Rune says. Very refreshing beer

This bar and restaurant has got a very centrally location in Kiev, in the main street of vul Khreshchatyk, not so far from the Independent Square. With its huge neon sign and outdoor patio it is very easy to find. Restaurant upstairs and a small pub downstairs. Two of their own three Shato Slavutych beers were on while we visited the place in July 09. Both beers on draught, Zolote and Scribne, were well made and had a refreshing fruity taste. In addition there was a pretty average menu of other beers on tap and bottle. A decent place to visit in Kiev with a polite staff (partly English speaking) and with very modern and clean toilets (visited 08.07.2009).
