Best selection in all of Edmonton. Does their best to get new and interesting beers and has a great selection of other liquors too. Sells all sorts of variety packs and has a number of rarer choices. Service is fine, hardly the prettiest store either. But that’s not why you come.

Going into this place is one of the reasons I’ve dove right into the culture of beer. Newly legal and profoundly ignorant of craft beer and having only had the big name brand beers I went in going for something new. I came out with an enthusiasm for something I never knew I’d have an enthusiasm for, and some interesting beers! The staff are great and the selection is incredible, over 1000 beers they now say. If I was to nitpick they could probably work on the overall ’feel’ of the place, it doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you’re in...

There’s no other place like it in Edmonton. Great selection, great staff.

Small looking, unassuming liquor store turns into a TARDIS once you walk inside the large beer cooler. Huge selection of beers, all arranged by style, with all new arrivals on the right as you walk in. Can get a little cramped if more than 10 people in there, especially if you just want to browse. Service is virtually non-existent (maybe they’re all afraid of the cold in the cooler?), but then I never require assistance when I shop here. Only downside for me is the pricing and old, very old bottles being sold (hence selection is a lowly 14). You really have to check dates very carefully on some beers/styles!! Store also carry’s a good, varied selection of Whisky, wine & other fine liquors. As it’s the largest selection of beers available in Canada, it’s must visit when in Edmonton; just be prepared to spend a lot of money

Best selection around; whenever I’m in EdmonChucK I make a point of driving by Sherbrooke LS. Very knowledgable staff who can always point you in the right direction.

Easily the largest selection of beer in Edmonton. All beer is kept in a walk in fridge, which although nice in the summer, makes shopping a cold and uncomfortable experience. Because of the huge selection it takes a bit of patience to find what you are looking for, also being in a fridge help isn’t readily available. Costs are pretty average.

Sherbrooke has the best selection of beer in Edmonton hands down. Domestic, import, craft, seasonal; you can find anything your looking for in their gargantuan cooler. They even carry unique beers from local brewers like Alley Kat, made especially for Sherbrooke (ie. Sherbrooke KGB). Unfortunately it isn’t the prettiest or best kept store in the city, and the staff aren’t incredibly helpful (although the staff in the beer cooler do have some good recommendations if you manage to coax it out of them) Prices are average. This is a 40 minute drive away from me, but i still go for the incredible selection.

I realize that my score is a bit lower than most. The reason was the service: No help, no public restroom, little more than a ’heresyourchangehaveaniceday’ from the clerk. Exceptional selection? Absolutely! Reasonable prices? Yes! Lots of exclusive beers? Sure! Also some of the worst service I’ve ever seen.

Probably the largest selection of beers I’ve ever seen under one roof. They had most of the rare ones I was looking for, and the ones they didn’t, I gathered it was only because they were sold out but that they were stocked. Clean, well laid out with beers in the cooler separated by type and country. While the fellow working that night was not exactly a beer connoisseur, he was very friendly and did recommend a new beer that I enjoyed a lot! I will definitely be going back next time I’m in Edmonton!
