Great place; found this on ratebeer and had to check it out while I was in town. I got some great Belgium beers that I have had no luck getting in Vancouver. A fantastic selection of beers. The prices might be higher than other places around ... but cheaper than BC for sure. I will be back.

I love the selection here. The staff are always friendly when you have contact with them. If you ask - they provide great suggestions. Not typically approached unless you ask.
The prices are higher than comparative stores that stock similar beers; however, that is the premium you pay to get everything in one place.
Favorite beer store in Edmonton.

A score of 78? Know this: The selection is unmatched within a 4hr drive and should have one of the top 2 or 3 selections in the entire country. There is an endless supply of new and cool beers of every type that hit the shelves with regularity. Anything and everything that hits the province ends up here. The prices are higher than pretty much everywhere else when comparing beers with availability. The majority of staff know nothing of beer but that doesn’t bother me. This place, for me, is all about selection - I’m not going there to chum it up with any one.

Reminded me of a US store in some ways. Had a lot of beers sorted by style. Nice to think we have enough available to do this. Also the fact that they have pretty much everything available in the Alberta market makes for one stop shopping. They are obviously trying hard to be a great store and in comparison to other Alberta locations they are a great beer store. Not sure about the age of some bottles since there was some stuff I had not seen for some months.

the location of the store is in a tiny strip mall off of a traffic circle "quadrant". the ambiance in the store is just fine, however other businesses around it are not the most inviting looking. which leads to the surprise inside. amazing selection of beer. and they recently busted a wall down to increase the size of the cooler room. best selection of beer around. most of the staff are knowledgeable on their product line. if not, they talk to someone that does. prices are reasonable, although some stuff is maybe 5-10% cheaper elsewhere. great to see gift sets for beer.

The biggest selection of beer I’ve seen anywhere in Alberta. I work just down the street from it, so if anything it’s a little "too accessible"!
