Visited Sherwood Pub on the 11th of april. I think this is a really nice place to drink some beers in this part of Italy. We got excellent service, and tasted a lot of good beers. I think the selection of beers is excellent, when considering the location. This place is definitely worth a visit. And if I ever revisit this part of Italy, I’ll be going there again.

non è proprio la mia misura di pub andiamo quasi piu sul risto pub ma l’amore per la birra è indiscutibile e il proprietario un amante vecchio stile molto apprezzabile.se passate da quelle parti dovete andare.

Quite a big pub inmersed in the countryside. Not difficult to get there, but it takes some time. There was a big hype on it, many call it one of the best pubs in northern Italy. They have an impressive selection, both bottles and taps (I went here for Zwanze Day 2012 so the selection was particularly broad). Food is average with some good exceptions but prices are overall the highest I’ve met in a pub. This place is just not for students (and I am one). Worth a visit for big occasions, I’d not be here every weekend, even if I lived closer. Among other beers I had the chance to try a Faro which was blended ny the publican himself, really nice and, surprisingly, inexpensive! On the whole, people working here seem to know their stuff, the negative side is just the price/quantity rate.

Perso nelle campagne della Lomellina, il pub è molto scomodo da raggiungere. Il servizio è eccellente, la musica è piacevole e si mangia bene. Le birre sono ottime artigianali italiane e straniere, sia alla spina che in bottiglia (oltre 300 referenze). Alla spina mancano le rarità, ma quello che c’è si beve che è un piacere. L’arredamento è tra i migliori che mi è capitato di trovare in giro per la Lombardia. Peccato per la distanza da Milano, difficile che riesca a ritornarci presto.

Tanti auguri! a mia conoscenza una delle pietre miliari della buona birra da molti anni, per l’esattezza pochi giorni fa festeggiava i 15! Coraggiosi fin dalla lambic sempre presente, bell’ambiente, caldo, rustico quanto basta e simpatia infinita. Buona cucina e tanta sintonia con il personale.

Un buon locale, che sia sperduto o meno non mi interessa e no va certo a suo discapito, anzi è da ammirare la scelta di proporre un locale simile fuori dai grandi centri. Peccato che le birre non siano sempre all’altezza e solo in bottiglia si trova qualche rarità. La loro cucina è buona me non eccelle in alcunchè.

I don’t understand such a clamour on this pub, and I don’t know why some people define it ’beer mecca’. Honestly there are nothing more than some ordinary beers on draught, and a good list of vintage. Check out the rest of the list.

Uno dei migliori pub del nord italia,vastissima scelta di birre in bottiglia di qualità dai più grandi classici ai vintage e lambic più rari,ottima selezione di spine a rotazione. Ottimo servizio,personale competente e preparato,da sottolineare la cura maniacale sulla conservazione e servizio delle birre.In conclusione una tappa d’obbligo per gli amanti del genere.
