Nice beer bar that serves Iowa Craft beers. They are a burger place and have a variety of burgers and associated sandwiches. Small bar, though and gets crowded.

All Iowa Taps, usually 2 TG taps on. The regular crowd is annoying college bros and service is what you’d expect from 19 year old servers. Last time I went they wouldn’t allow any substitutions on the burgers. Burgers used to be damn good, and now are just decent to good depending on the night. still, one of the better places to drink and eat in Iowa City. Not terribly expensive for downtown either.

This is a really cool place to visit in Iowa City if you’re looking to try Iowa beers. They had around 15-20 beers on tap, all from Iowa, including 4 from Toppling Goliath, 4 from Van Houzen, and multiples from Millstream, Peace Tree, and CIB. You can also get any beers in 5, 11, or 16 oz, which makes it convenient to sample the selection. We didn’t try the burgers, but they looked really tasty. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try Iowa beers on tap.

The burgers are neat because they tell you where your meat came from and it is from an Iowa farm. However, the food is average to good and the fries are always soggy. The taps are Iowa beers and some that other bars do not carry like Des Moines locals. Restaurant is very cramped, but it has a low key atmosphere. In the summer it can be very hot with lots of flies if you sit near the front. Very interesting burger combinations. A must stop if you are a burger person.

Very cool place in a unpretentious college town. Burgers are excellent and while the selection is limited, where else are you going to find a selection of 3-4 craft ales made in Iowa? Service is quick, friendly and efficient, but on both my visits there wasn’t much beer talk and I don’t think there would be. This will be my first stop the next time I’m in Iowa City and I’d love to see what it’s like in the evenings.

Fantastically delicious hamburgers. Nice selection of Iowa brewer’s products. When I was here, they had beer from Peace Tree and McGregor, IA. Unfortunately, the staff knew almost nothing about beer and kept referring me to a bartender who also knew nothing.

This place probably deserves to be listed as it the only restaurant in Iowa City to offer micro brews made exclusively in Iowa. In general, they try to support Iowa producers whenever possible. For example, the burgers are sourced from a farm in Iowa. They currently have about 8 taps and plan to increase. Their taps currently include beers from Peace Tree, Millstream, Old Man River, and Court Avenue. Sutliff cider is also on tap. Although the burgers, in my opinion, are not the best in town, they are pretty good.
