mini-mart that has a better beer selection that just about any other you’ll find. decent import selection including common trappists and Lindeman’s lambics; US stuff like Stone, Saint Arnold, Lazy Magnolia, Rogue. I found a number of singles from the area that were new to me.

I was in New Orleans for a convention, and not wanting to just drink crap beer or deal with Beer Fest’s outrageous prices the whole weekend, I decided to take a walk to this place. The store is rather small and the aisles are fairly narrow, but they managed to put some decent beer on the shelves (for LA, anyway). I picked up a decent array of Southern beers and also some CA favorites (like SN Torpedo), as well as some other beverages (hard cider) to drink on the streets while I walked around. They sell plastic cups for $0.50, which is pretty cool. The prices were decent and the service was pretty good. If you’re stuck in the French Quarter and in need of a decent beer store, I’d certainly recommend stopping in here.

OK selection but nothing to get excited about, IMO. Find, there is Chimay and a few German imports - some limited American micro - but really, nothing you can’t find in many other places. Perhaps they’ve gone downhill since some of the last reviews, but the beer selection was just not impressive.

Unlike Vieux Carre, this store really lets you know they have beer! Bottles stacked in the windows and neon signs do the trick. Surprisingly small on the inside, but they use their space well. Slightly less selection overall than Vieux Carre, but more domestic choices overall I’d say (some Rogue, Sierra Nevada, some Abita choices I hadn’t seen elsewhere). Decent enough for a visitor from Canada..

This store has a great selection of beer from all over including seasonals and a bunch of belgiums. Has liquour, wine, and sake too. Small store but they sure do cram it in.

This store was nestled deep within the French Quarter, and given that we were staying in the local area and didnt have a car, we were happy to find some nice beer here. Reasonable selection of american craft beer available in the area as well as a number of nice Belgian beers including Corsendonk, Chimay, and a few others. They had most of the Abita line in addition to offerings from some of the better craft brewers. Decent selection for a place that was within walking distance of our hotel.

Not a bad place, especially considering its location. If you’re in New Orleans, in the French Quarter, and you want a good beer (from the area) they have the best of the very limited selection.

Not a world class store by any means but much better than all of the surrounding shops in the French Quarter. If you’re not in the south very often you can find several new regional beers to try out. Most of the major US and Imports are represented. Stop by and grab a beer for the walk to Frenchmen and the DBA

They advertised over 190 beers. I found maybe 100 six packs of bud and another 70 six packs of coors with a couple singles with the best being Rochefort 8. Probably the best place to get beer in the French Quater but not what I was expecting.

Nice little liquor store located pretty close to everything in the French quarter. Personnel was extremely amicable, seemed quite knowledgeable. Beer selection was pretty good, although you can tell this is not primarily a beer store. Big plus for the option to go out with your beer in hand in a go cup. Prices were quite fair. Loved it, went four times over a one-week stay.
