The more relaxed and more traditional of the two outlets from this chain in Lancaster. During the daytime you will find quite a mix of people inside and plenty of families in the lower level area. The outside of this pub looks like a small cottage, so it has a deceptive appearance, but there is no shortage of seats or in its usual selection. There’s two rows of ale pumps, although only one of these rows has the rotating range, the other is for the regular brews. This is a popular place for food, and very handy if you are staying in the Travelodge next door.

One of the best places to sample some rate beer in the city. Both Wetherspoons in Lancaster are very similar when it comes to food and beer selection. Each has a great beer and cider selection about 10, most are uncommon to the rest of the city. But it looks like a new building. Bright lit with lots of space not as intimate as most other pubs.
