Your average sized liquor store with smaller than expected beer selection. Had nothing I have not seen at every other store I visited in the area. Would not go out of my way to here.

Decent beer store with a good selection, especially for the area. Prices tend to be a dollar or two higher than other places but they pretty much get everything available to the area. The owner Chuch is, for the most part, a nice dude and is willing to place special orders upon request. Nice singles/mix & match cooler as well.

First time in this store...pretty good selection of beers, it took me quiet a while to find what i was looking for, nobody ask if i needed any help...end up buying a six pack and leaving! will think twice before i walk in again

Very nice store located right along Central Expressway. The owner, Chuck, does a great job to get the new releases as soon as they come out. The prices are about normal for the area and there is a nice selection of singles although less than at the nearby Mr. G’s. There is also a nice collection of sakes.

This is about the hardest place to get in and out of. The interior is crowded with little room to turn around. Above average selection of singles. The glassware is way overpriced. (They seem to make up the price on impulse). While in their humidor, I felt that my every move was monitored. They do have lots of six packs that I can’t normally find at other beer stores. I asked a worker stocking a shelf about a certain beer and he" no hablo english" Friendly service at check-out.

S&K is another store which does a pretty good job of beer selection for North Texas. Certainly one of the best in our area, but oddly lacking some SKUs as well. For instance, I can find Duchess de Bourgogne at any good beer store, but they don’t have it here. They are among the first to get all the new releases though so that gives them some advantage over other places in town. The owner Chuck is friendly and as helpful as he can be, but lacks some knowledge of craft beer. He does try, but probably not dedicated enough to own the knowledge. Prices are slightly higher than most places for most items, but occasionally he will have a very good buy on something and he passes his savings on to the customer. Despite all the good things, I rarely find myself driving out of my way to go here.

I have bought a lot of beer here and usually hit it about once a month since KB or MrG usually has most of the new stuff and is more convenient they do have a few things normally that the other stores dont I have found a Hacker and a Sam Adams here I hadnt seen elsewhere also have some good sales once in a while

Was I there on a bad day? Was there a secret room I missed? The location isn’t convenient for me, and I didn’t see what I was looking for on that one visit.

S&K has a normal beer and wine store ambiance and good service. The staff is friendly, but they don’t go above and beyond to help you. Their selection is excellent considering they have lots of rare beers and over 250 total. They had a tasting the first time I went and were not stingy because they suggested I tried a sample of everything they had out. This is absolutely a great place to for beer that I will visit for many times to come.
