A cool little place just south of town in a commercial/industrial district. Small modern style tap room with a bottle selection to go. Nothing really special on tap when i was there however, great service and friendly people made it fun. If your in this area, definitely stop here.

Even though itís set in an in industrial park, Ska has down an excellent job at setting up a great fun tap room, full of character and great ambiance. The service is classic colorado.. Super genuine friendly service with a smile. Big airy place well decorated, great music playing. Nice selection on tap, lots of exclusive stuff. I have to emphasise again how great service was. Pleasure to drink there and well worth the drive!

Itís a beautiful sight from the outside: a brewery tucked into the side of a snow covered mountain. The inside is a large open warehouse type space with a bar and a few tables. You can see the canning machine through a window. Beer is available to go also in cans and in growlers. They didnít have a large variety of styles and Ska is really hit or miss. They make some awesome beers and few so-so ones. There is a lot of cool merchandise for sale.

Since we were in Durango to visit some of my GFís friends and check on real estate, had to get a trip in to SKA since I like their Modus Hoperandi. The place is a large, open tasting room with a rack of clothing in the corner. Atmosphere was fine for a tasting room and very clean. Service was ok. Had a Modus on cask and another from tap. Didnít care for it on cask. I guess I prefer to have my IPAs a little cold. Price of brew was low, unfortunately, didnít have time to drink too many. We came during the afternoon since we were on vacation, so it wasnít busy. Bought a T-shirt, too. I would come here often if I lived in this town.

The epitome of what a micro-brew is all about. Good/ loud music. Owners who care about good beer and love to hate the corporations...check out rotgutzen.com. Really creative marketing and just a great place to be with the local crowd. This is really a diamond in the rough...on the outskirts/ south side of Durango (near Walmart...enough said). If you are ever in the area, go to Ska!

SKA is a great place to go and hang out and have a few beers. They have pint specials on most nights of the week, which definitely ups the value! As others have mentioned, they also have some homebrewing supplies which actually saved me a few weeks back when I need some replacement yeast and the nearest homebrewing store is 45 minutes away! Their beers are the best in town, and the atmosphere is fun, especially when there are live bands. The only downside to SKA is that the waitresses are usually stretched too thin and too busy to check on tables. Most people end up going to the bar to get another pint. A small price to pay for the great times at SKA!

Located a couple miles out of Downtown Durango and worth the short trip to their bar. Stopped by ~6:00pm on a Friday and they werenít too busy and service was good. Looks like they sell a bunch of Homebrew stuff here too for all you homebrewers in the area!

The only time I visited the brewery was during one of Skaís Skafestsí. Fun time with live band and flowing beer. There will always be a spot in my heart for a true blonde or a pinstripe.
