Not sure how I’ve missed rating Skylark. They offer some of the best deals in Chicago for beer. Daisy Cutter for less than $5? Get out! Food is good pub grub, greasy and filling. And cheap. Occasionally do get some one off kegs from FFF & Founders. Definitely worth hitting if in Pilsen

The Skylark is a nice place to stop off for a few pints and a sandwich. The tap list is fairly large and packed w/ great beer. You won’t find rarities but if you can bring yourself to drink such mundane stuff as Lagunitas Sumpin’ Sumpin’ or North Coast Old Rasputan, I think you’ll be just fine. The food is typical bar fare and the unique thing on the menu is excellent tater tots instead of the standard french fries. Clientele is predominantly twenty and thirty somethings and a mix of craft beer drinkers and those dedicated to cheap PBR on draft. Definitely the best beer bar in Pilsen and one of the best on the South Side.
