Awesome spot. Bartender chatted me up for half hour then bought me a beer. Great selection. Fantastic. Bonus points for having 2 Surly posters on the wall.

The atmosphere is much like an old school futbul/soccer bar you find tons of overseas, long wood bar and mostly cozy location. While there is a good tap selection, the bottle selection is even better. Had a nice firkin as well which was the best value in the house. The first time I was here the service was prompt and accurate. The next time, the service was still prompt. I will go back.

Usually friendly staff. Always have 2-3 great beers on tap. Tap list tends to have too many Lagunitas’ brands. Expansive bottle list. Simple menu, but great food that compliments the beers. A favorite spot to go on the weekday evenings for a quiet beer with a friend.

AgentZero raves about this place so finally got around to checking it out on a lovely Saturday evening... Got to sit outside which was great on a perfect nighe. Inside a soccer bar so that is awesoem, cool memorobilla....The service is tab bit lacking, the servers are not beer people, don’t know a ton. The bar tenders know more but didn’t really discuss with them...The quality of the beer was only decent. They did have a huge selection 20ish taps, over a 100 bottles, lots of American and Belgians. However, wasn’t blown away by anything. Mostly easy to find crafts, nothing special or rare. Mostly the craft staples. Overall, solid place nothing over the top great. Local Option and Map Room are both within 10 minutes of Small bar so I’d recommend them.

Always good things on tap here, but on friday and saturdays it can be hard to get your order in. Also, soccer hooligans. The food I’ve had has been bad.

Cozier than the Fullerton location, but not as cozy at Logan Square. Definitely a soccer bar with a good beer program. Not in the ranks of the top bars in the city, but very close. Big plus for hosting the Stone Total Tap Tower Takeover this fall. I like that they are trying cask ale, but I got an awful pint of flat double dry-hopped Daisy Cutter the first time I went in. At least they took it back and thanked me for letting them know that the cask had turned. Definitely a good spot for the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here if not for an EPL match or a special event.

largely due to the crowd - measured in their character and masses - not as pleasant of an experience as the logan square location though in my estimation nearly nothing is. perhaps even more homey (with crowds at bay) then logan square however, though likely you wont see it that way most of the week. still, if you are experienced in the ways of crowd control and navigation the beer list never disappoints.

Selection was good in both bottles and draft. The bartenders were very knowledgeable about the beers they had available as well as other local beer spots. Value was decent. I will return to this bar for their selection of drafts.

Outdoor seating, but not the best view. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, but it sometimes took a while to get service. The selection was pretty solid, easy to find stuff I wanted to drink. Happy with the food.

Came in here not too long ago and was pleased to see the beer selection, which included nightstalker and a gravity cask of Red Eye Porter. The food was generous and very decent. The crowd was rambunctious in a bad way, but the staff was spot on, even with the crowded atmosphere. Definitely a good place to go.
