Nice, spacious building with large parking lot. Service is prompt and very good. Friendly staff. They had eight tap handles when I visited. Food was typical of a Northwest brew-pub. The quality of the beer is worth the trip.

June 2010. I agree that this place offers a great break from wine, and also that it is in the middle of a ghost town! Sampled 9 beers while I was there (our server hooked us up- bought a sampler of 6 beers, but 9 were on draft so she brought us those 3 for free!!) A nice selection of both light and dark beers were on offer. While none particularly stood out as "incredible", they were all very drinkable and the staff was knowledgeable about the brews and the history of the place.

Based on one visit, will update after a followup visit in a few weeks. Atmosphere is sort of ski lodge-ish, with a lot of wood and high ceilings. Service at the bar was excellent and food was ready quickly. The pizza I had was fairly average, but Iím very demanding when it comes to pies. One of the beers I had was off - clearly the line/keg/tap was infected. The other was very good. I love the cheap íto goí containers, they were perfect for transporting a good amount of ale to the rugby tournament I was heading to, without the attendant weight and hazard of a glass growler. Selection is house beers only and some of them are pretty damn good from my limiited exposure. There was a brewer change at Snipes in í11 and it remains to be seen which way they will go.

Definitely the nicest place to eat in Sunnyside, and maybe the entire Yakima Valley for the beer lover. Went to the region on vacation with my wife and ate here, El Porton (a mexican restaurant in Zillah), and Picazo 7 seventeen ( a really nice wine bar in Prosser). Would suggest all places, but snipes is a definite, if only for a change from wine. Very nice well kept establishment which is way out of place in shitty sunnyside. Had a nice sampler of beers and not too expensive. I had the ribs which were excellent. Not crowded at all. Highly reccomended.

Great lodge feel to this place. In the middle of a town that looks to be either a ghost town or just a very old that needs new business. They located here? We had some good brewpub food the place was clean, the servers knew the beer and they did a great job for me. I asked about a special serving of tasters they where able to accommodate and they even told me about the history of the brewer and brewery. A nice stop if ever in the area easy to find off the main freeway and easy to get back on. Games, TVís, special banquet rooms and Brewery tours if the brewer is available.

Just visited here for the second time. Service was decent enough, but always been a fan of these beers ever since their brewer worked at the Wild Duck. This place really stands out in Sunnyside, which isnít saying much, but they could have put another crappy business on the street and instead decided to go all-out and make an amazingly impressive ski-lodge style brewery.

Large woody "Family Restaurant" with large ceilings, reminiscent of an old church but with a manufactured home feel to it. Came during a very slow time so there werenít many people and the staff could take care of us. Sampler was as expected, nothing falsely advertised. I usually like a place with more personality than just the people that it contains, but I canít complain.

Big, sterile brewpub. Wide range of house beers, nothing flashy but some of them were pretty good. Had a respectable burger, again nothing too flashy. Service was fair enough. Pretty standard brewpub experience, certainly nothing unique about it but no complaints either.
