We visited here on Saturday 26th October, we being me, Loz and Ang. There was a beer festival showcasing new and also green hopped beers, called Good Libations Beer Festival, however some of the better beers had gone before we arrived sadly, still we managed to get a Trapped, Canterbury and Crouch Vale beer before actually deciding that cider was the best route to go down. The pub is situated on a corner opposite Cannonbury overground station. It was dark and rather busy when we arrived so unfortunately I am unable to give a good overview of this pub, however as you enter the bar is in front of you off to your right and there are a large number of tables and seats scatttered around. Clearly beer choice was particularly good owing to the beer festival but looking at the bar I would guess that there would be a pretty decent selection at other times. Staff were friendly, the pub was comfortable, I liked it and will certainly head back here again when in the area.

The Snooty Fox is a very cosy pub located in Canonbury, North London. The ambiance is excellent. Itís a worn-down street corner boozer with a rock íní roll vibe. On my visit, the place was packed with old mods and young hipsters. Trendy and welcoming atmosphere. The pub soundtrack was pretty awesome: everything from rocksteady to Interpol (first album). The beer selection was solid. Thereís some lazy keg options, but the cask stuff was pretty strong - beers from Steel City and Revolutions featured. The value was fine. They do CAMRA discounts (if youíre a member). Overall, this place is quite a good find. Iíd come here more often if it was located closer to my patch of London. Worth a stop.

Visited this pub the 14/01-2012 on the great Overground Pub Crawl.
Nice cosy cornerpub, in asort of modern style. The beers were mainly from small local micro breweries. On the walls where a lot of photos of music people, which lead to a lot of talk about who is who :-). Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
The food looked great, didnīt have any, so this pub is up for a revisit at some point :-)

A comfortable and stylish pub with an excellent and ever changing range of around seven well kept, mainly local beers and friendly, efficient staff. Update: The choice of beers on my last visit was more limited than Iíd remembered but it remains a place worth visiting. We ate this time and the food was very good.
