74 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 jackl (206) London, England | October 7, 2012 The Snooty Fox is a very cosy pub located in Canonbury, North London. The ambiance is excellent. It’s a worn-down street corner boozer with a rock ’n’ roll vibe. On my visit, the place was packed with old mods and young hipsters. Trendy and welcoming atmosphere. The pub soundtrack was pretty awesome: everything from rocksteady to Interpol (first album). The beer selection was solid. There’s some lazy keg options, but the cask stuff was pretty strong - beers from Steel City and Revolutions featured. The value was fine. They do CAMRA discounts (if you’re a member). Overall, this place is quite a good find. I’d come here more often if it was located closer to my patch of London. Worth a stop. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Brugmansia (257) Jylland, Denmark | August 31, 2012 Visited this pub the 14/01-2012 on the great Overground Pub Crawl.
Nice cosy cornerpub, in asort of modern style. The beers were mainly from small local micro breweries. On the walls where a lot of photos of music people, which lead to a lot of talk about who is who :-). Friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
The food looked great, didn´t have any, so this pub is up for a revisit at some point :-) | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Boudicca (373) London, England | March 4, 2012 A comfortable and stylish pub with an excellent and ever changing range of around seven well kept, mainly local beers and friendly, efficient staff.
