Quick stop during a tour of SD with t0rin0. Really cool place. Huge ceilings, lots of places to sit. Outside I think there was also a patio. Food truck set up early afternoon on a beautiful Saturday. The place shares a parking lot with a big apartment complex - damn, that would be a nice place to live! Beers were amped up versions of classic styles. Tasters available and seemed like 15 or so beers on tap. Would certainly stop in again.

17 Jan 2015. big seating area, decent size bar, brewery behind and to the side of both. Staff is very friendly and helpful. staff will only serve two, three ounce tasters at a time (presumably to keep it fresh and cold). tasters are only $1. about 18 beers on tap. food truck outside. really cool design and decorations.

Salon de dégustation dans une moitié d’entrepôt, plafond haut, tables communes forcant les rapprochements sinon l’ambiance serait glaciale. Les échantillons sont 1$ et la qualité est là, spécialement avec le travail des houblons.

Sort of hard to find, in an industrial park off of a main street. But well worth the effort. Beers were really fantastic. $1 tasters and very friendly staff. This was a great visit.

A throwback pub in the middle of an industrial complex. Nice but somewhat limited tap selection. Friendly staff and a lively vibe. A must stop for IPA lovers.

Quite big open space with the brewery just next to the tasting room. Nice atmosphere on a late afternoon. Lots of their own beers, and you can get small samples of all the beers. Definately worth a visit, their beers are really good.

This was my last stop on a recent SD craftbeer tour...amazingly finding out upon arriving that it was a block from my hotel after visiting 3 other places that day (note: the Hampton on Kearny-Mesa is the most centrally located hotel for you could want for an SD brewery tour). I arrived here an hour before closing on a Sunday evening...somewhat burned out from 2 1/2 days of craftbeer touring...yet this place somehow still stood out and became one of the best memories of the trip. Their beers were exceptional...about 15 when I visited. The décor is especially cool...a lot of blonde wood. I loved the bar back and the hops growing outside as well as a number of interesting décor elements. Couldn’t help but buy the t-shirt with the ingredients for making beer plus "death metal" or "bluegrass"...your choice! All in all this was a perfect cap to a perfect 3 day SD craftbeer tour! Societe is a must visit when in the area.

Awesome place, great beers and friendly staff. $1 for tasters and they had 9 beers on tap. Growlers available as well. Really hot as San Diego was in the middle of a major heat wave. Highly recommended!

This place is tucked away a bit off of Clairemont Mesa. Yet another small industrial park strip sort of place where it appears they have a good chunk of the building for themselves. The majority of the volume is the 20BBL brewhouse, fermenter farm with what looks like a bit more room to expand if needed. To the right is a sleek looking modern meets sort of NW looking bar and tap area and to the left appears to be a window into a barrel aging room. I love this space, lots of wood, barrels hanging around, nice tables and to the far left outside are hop bines climbing up the building, nice touch. The staff was friendly and fun to talk with and they have a two taster at a time rule which I’ve never encountered before and have no problem with. I see eleven offerings today and I’m digging my way through ten of them. Good beer, great space, centrally located… yeah, I’ll be back for sure.
