This is probably one of the better brewpubs in the area. Their food is damn good. I like it... a lot. They have a good line up of beers. Their IPA is awesome. Their porter is up there as well. They have a new stout that was the brewers whim that was pretty damn good. The staff is always friendly. Sometimes not the most knowledgeable but that’s ok. I can talk to the brewmaster if need be, or make Jordo do it.

All right. A restaurant in a small un-assuming strip mall. ‘check’ Wooden tables and chairs reminiscent of a Boll Weevil or 20 year old Beef O’ Brady’s. ’check’ I was able to grab a table not too far from the small bar situated at the end of the space. So the decent food I had and several of the nice house brew tap offerings really hit the spot. The IPA was spot on too. This has a nice feel to it even though it seems pretty far removed from a brewpub. I’ll go back for sure.

Yet another great brewpub in Boise-Just had their IPA, which is world-class in my book. If your in this area, do yourself a favor and just stop for that if your hard up for time. Atmosphere wasnt what i was expecting-its in an older well kept neighborhood however, lots of college kids watching the football games here. Cool place i will definitely come back here!

Made a quick lunchtime visit on a Saturday. Place was fairly empty. The bartender was friendly and anxious to talk beer. The food was average middle American fare, and the two ales we tried were solid specimens. The place has an unfortunate strip-mall, chain restaurant feel, but good beer is always worth a stop. Brewery #585.

Stopped at Sockeye along my way home from SLC to Olympia. I have been hearing this is the place. Well I must have stopped on the wrong day. The service was not to what others have said and I was disappointed. I liked the beers and the food was good also as all pub food is filling and tasty. I hope to hit this place again on a better note. They have plenty of parking and WiFi and kids are Ok also. The beers are tasty and they have plenty to choose from.

Very good beer. They had a nice sampler of all of there beers on tap. Food was good, with a pretty good selection. Service was good and friendly. I will definitely go back when I’m in town again. The Dagger IPA was great!

A nice place in Boise. Located just outside of downtown and easy to find. They had 7 beers on tap, and the food was really good. The service was great as well. Kinda like a restaurant more than a brewpub in terms of ambiance, but I liked this place.

This is a great place to eat. One of the best Ruebens in town. It had a nice selection of beer. Dagger falls and hopnoxios is good. It seemed a little dark inside, but there was a cloud cover. The service was pretty good. Never had to call for the server at all. This is a place I would recommend to anyone.

This is the best brewpub in Boise. The Hopnoxious (avail only in Summer) is served in a 10oz glass and is worthy of the Smithsonian it is so damn delicious. A Hops lover’s dream. They generally have 8 or 8 seasonals on tap. My favorite is Precocious Pale Ale. Extremely hoppy, citrus, delicious. Better than the Dagger Falls IPA. The Coho tacos and Coho Club are amazing. The negs--a bit smoky smell. I hate smokers. The servers could be a little better looking on the eye. The location is a drag. I’d like to see them move to Milwaukee or on Fairview. This is the best place to get a beer in Boise. It is respectable in every sense of the word. A true treasure....

Kind of a hidden place with a lingering of stale cigarette smoke in the air. The brewing area is tiny and did not look very clean to me, so I was suspicious at first. A typical brewpub with some ofay bar food and typical everyday beers with some really outstanding seasonals.

Finally hit an actual brewery in Boise! Walked in right as they opened pretty much, and my waitress (sorry, can’t remember your name already!) was eager to serve someone! I picked up the sampler platter, which gives all 10 brews they have on tap at the moment, and went to sit on the patio. Beautiful day, for the most part decent beer with a few stand-outs, and really friendly and conversative service. Didn’t get food. Overall, I’d return, hopefully to find that Trappist on tap!
