I stopped in here while driving down to Baton Rouge.
It has a modern feel to it. It did feel a bit dry though, but the patio did seem like it would be a good idea on a warm night. It was a wednesday night, so I didnít expect it to be crowded. There was a small and polite crowd as it was away from the crazy of beale street
the selection was southern based with two Ghost River brews on tap and a few other craft brews as well. The bottle list was on the smaller side but craft based as well
The beers were more than I wouldíve liked for the quality. It was $6 for a ghost river, and while itís nice to support a local brewery, it was a bit overpriced for the quality delivered
South of Beale was solid. Nothing too spectacular, but a nice change of pace from the Beale scene
