More spacious than Mountain Sun. The food is pretty good. The beer is also tastey.

Situated in a land of strip mall suburbia the tye-die element found at the other might be lacking to a degree. The beers should help you get over that.

See my Mountain Sun rating ... but in general, I like Southern Sun better ... more space and you can actually find a seat on a Fri. or Sat. night.

Mountain Sun has opened another location in south Boulder, and this one is quite a bit more spacious than the one on Pearl St. That means you can *sit* at the long bar or (gasp) even get a table. Much more comfortable and less crowded. The beer selection is pretty much identical to Mountain Sun, even though they have brewing facilities on premises (obviously Mike Altman is in charge of the brewing at both sites).
