Cozy pub with about 15 taps, including 4-5 casks. Selection is mostly macroes, but also a few locals. Good condition on the beers i had. Samplers offered before ordering, and the barman seems to know his beer. Good food aswell.

The pub occupies a corner building of the busy opposite the entrance to London Bridge Tube Station as well as the famous covered Borough marketplace. Inside it is a very traditional affair for a pub of this type, but comfortable enough, although at peak hours there can be too many people in here. If you can grab one of the alcoves downstairs then this is the place to sit but these fill up fast. Cask ales served.

Big, OK pub on a busy corner. Nothing much wrong with it, normally one or two interesting ales on, but are many better pubs in the locality.

Can only echo the other reviews; a perfectly pleasant place; big, loud, traditional feel right on the edge of Borough Market. This place gets packed by Thursday evening. A small but decent array of cask ales from around the UK. However, in comparison to the neighboring Market Porter, Rake and Wheatsheaf it comes fourth on that list.

Decent place. Iíve been in here a few times and there are usually some nice offerings on cask. Good atmosphere, average prices. Itís located in Burough Market and nearby are Market Porter, Brew Wharf, The Rake, and Utobeer. Not the best of this bunch (though it is open later than the others), but certainly worth visiting if you are in the area.

Pretty classic pub with some decent enough beers, but in an area where a Ratebeerian will expect more. You can skip it and not feel bad about it.

6 beers on cask but people seem to drink only Guinness and Kirin Ichiban... Music was very loud on evening and it felt to me more like a club than a pub. There are way better options within a 2 minutes walk.

15 meters from the Market Porter and the first pub you see when you get up from the metro. 10-15 casks avaliable. Harviestoun, Fullers and some small breweries. Cozy and British!

Yet another decent real ale pub in the Southwark-Borough area. This one is a freehouse with six different and interesting hand pulled ales to choose from. Both of mine were in excellent condition. Consists of a medium sized ground floor, a cozy cellar and outdoor seating. Seems to be popular for brunch with a nice selection of sandwiches. Top service, the barman put on a new cask of Harviestou American IPA for me. Should definitely be included in beer pub crawls in the area (visited, 30th July 2011).
