Kinda glad to get here as I’m usually in town before they open. Small parking lot but you could easily walk here after a visit to Mad Fox and their ample parking. Small inside with a few tables and some bars. Decor and vibe had me thinking "nerdy hipster." Nice tap list. Less common national crafts, nice selection of locals. Prices were solid on small pours and they were generous with samples. Bartenders were very nice and helpful. Didn’t eat but the gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches looked and smelled awesome. Recommended stop for sure.

Neighbourhood bar dishing up craft beer and grilled cheese sandwiches. Some interesting beers on tap from the local/regional breweries which is always good for a first time visitor to the area. Having said that, expect to see breweries on tap that are from across the country as well. Tasty pulled pork sandwich. Efficient staff. Solid.

Visited on the way back from IAD with nate2g; we tried Mad Fox first but they were closed. Always wanted to try this place, after watching the ratings from iphonephan, GenDV138 and radagast83. Late on a Saturday night Spacebar was filled but not overly crowded, a very young crowd. More or less a dive bar atmosphere. I was very impressed by the variety of beers on offer, almost all of it local. Service was quick and efficient. Grilled cheese was tasty and gooey. Worth a stop.

Awesome place that I’ve sadly only had the chance to visit once. I definitely like the fact the place is 21 and up only, but that doesn’t make it any less crowded. That said, waiting on a place to sit is definitely worth it. Good tap selection and I really like that they offer a range of pour sizes for each beer. Food is not much more than frozen tater tots and build your own grilled cheese sandwiches, but it is so, so delicioius! Cool place all around and one I’d really like to go back to.

Visited here last night. I’d had this on my list of places to go for quite some time. I clearly didn’t remember that they were the sister restaurant to Galaxy Hut, as my girlfriend told me from looking online while we were en-route. The place is in a very small shopping center, with what looks like a used record store next door. Not a lot of parking in front, and I’m not sure where there is any other convenient parking aside from over by Mad Fox, which is a block or two down and across the street.
The place is relatively small, but perhaps slightly bigger than the inside of Galaxy Hut. They are upfront about the different sizes available (4, 9, 16oz), which is nice. No need to ask about sample sizes. You order from the bar, like at Galaxy Hut, so expect to stand up if you sit at a booth each time you want something to drink.
Clientele had lots of vegetarians and vegans were there, or at least seemed to be there the night I visited. Very eclectic assortment of people. No that there’s anything wrong with that, they were all just a little odd. Very nice, just odd.
The beer selection was nice on draft, a few locals I hasn’t had or hadn’t had in some time, which was nice. Bottle list isn’t as impressive, but with the number of taps available, there isn’t really a need to grab a bottle.
The "totchos" were okay, but we ordered a small, and I’m not sure if they gave us a large or if the small is just that huge, but it was way too filling. One complaint is that they may have been a little overdone - a touch too crispy, but otherwise entirely edible. Everyone raves about them, but I think, as Donnie says in his review, they’re definitely not house made.
The place shines with their grilled cheese menu. Very well made, very tasty, and an infinite combination of ingredients make it a place I’ll likely return to frequently.

Nice small craft bar in Falls Church. 25 or so drafts available in 4, 9, and 16 ounce pours, along with recently added 16 ounce pours to go in mason jars with a $1 deposit. Small amount of tables/booths behind the bar area, all ordering is done at the bar. Food is good, grilled cheeses/melts and salads, tots are definitely of the frozen variety like Ore Ida though they’re at least deep fried. They’ve also recently added poutine tots which may be a special, but you can also get "totchos" with your choice of toppings, basically tater tot nachos. Very small parking lot but there is street parking available. I’ve only gone around opening hours so parking’s never been an issue there.

Craft beer bar with gourmet grilled cheese as a hook. 24 taps, maybe 20 bottles. Industrial/modern decor. Very friendly staff. Stopped in at 5:00pm opening and barkeep was very informative and helpful. 4oz tasting are nice, but you pay for it.

Checked it out thanks to rateBeer. I hear it is the same ownership as Galexy Hut. Very friendly straightforward industrial and a little urban. I counted 24 taps and not many bottles. Had a great Rueben sandwich. You can get sampples if a little pricy.
6/26 this is the second time I have had beer served with a distinct bleach odor. A beer bar really should do a better job. It was early so it was not like it was a rush.

Trendy neighborhood bar featuring 24 taps of high quality brews from Green Flash, Breckenridge, Epic, North Coast, Bells, Founders, etc. Available in 9 oz goblets, which is a plus.. A not so impressive bottle list of a dozen or so, including a few Belgians. Had one Left Hand nitro tap, which was quite special. Also have cask events. Worth a visit.
