50 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 1/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 b727trijet (150) Isleworth, England | April 25, 2013 In the suburbs so bit of a hike whichever way you arrive. Beware the last train back to the town centre from nearby Drago station goes early! Beer is sold in only 330ml glasses or 1.5litre jugs. As of 19 April 2013 prices were 20pesos (or 30 for the seasonal) 330ml or 80pesos (120pesos for the seasonal) jugs. Tried all 4 that were on, the Trigo (wheat) was a seasonal. That and the Negra were personally the best, didnt think much of the Rubia (blonde) nor the Roja (Red).
When the weather is nice they move tables and chairs onto the quiet pavement outside.
The goulasch was superb. I gave the service a 1 rating as they attempted to overcharge me by 100 pesos, just aswell I’d done my sums beforehand so beware!!
**Can the moderator please delete or correct the proximity map** as it is nowhere near here, probably 8 kms away, N.E.of Drago train station on the line to Suarez. Thanks, will save other’s time trying to find it. The point marked on the proximity map is infact the Ministry of Justice!** | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 lambic (60) Newton Poppleford, England | October 11, 2012 Nice little bar/brew pub just out of the center, excellent helpful service, good food and great beer, well worth seeking out. | 64 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 fermaspac (10) , Brazil | May 7, 2012 Hidden gem in BA. Great atmosphere and nice picadas. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 Fukito (21) Ann Arbor, Michigan | January 4, 2007 Litte bar with some picadas a nice atmosphere, cozy and attended by the owners. The "brewery" is on the adjacent garage. Earns a plus ´cause here is where I learned to brew! Three of their brews on tap (you know how it goes "La blanche, La rouge and Le Noir" | 78 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 Gazza (160) Worcester, England | October 8, 2006 A strange place, this one. It’s quite a way out in the west near to Dr L M Drago station in a largely residential area but it’s a real gem and seems more like a trendy Soho cafe than a brewpub! There’s not a lot of room so you may need to overspill onto the pavement tables to get served the beers. Sociable staff who are keen to serve you jugs of beer (ARG$20) and plates of excellent-looking cheese and meats. Recommended. |
