Visited on a Monday afternoon for SF beer week. Dimly lit casual smaller tasting room with bar top seating, couch or two, and a few stand up tables. Twelve taps with a couple special ones on. Service was decent, prices were fine. Could get full pours or sample size, growlers to go and merchandise. Worth a stop if it isn’t too far out of your way or if you are really into Speakeasy beers.

Visited numerous times since 2007. In the old days they had music and darts and even a grill out back (though that may have been for employees only). For $15 you got a pint glass and 4 tokens to have it filled, which I always thought was excessive but of course you can bring the tokens back. The service was always real helpful and they did informal tours periodically. Nowadays they’re still really nice but it’s much more crowded and it’s harder to get any help. They always have the regular lineup (Big Daddy, Double Daddy, Godfather, Untouchable, etc) plus a few rotating/one-offs (special dry hopped variations or barrel aged what have yous). Cool place over all. Worth a stop if you want to hang out but realistically you can get most of their beers at the liquor stores.

A wonderful place to go for events. Big open spaces. Plenty of parking. Great staff. Often there are opportunities to try beers at events and at the tap room here that are not widely available. It’s been my experience that the best beers from Speakeasy are most often sampled here.

Industrial area location for this warehouse brewery. It’s a huge place, but quite dark, with a small bar area and music stage close to the entrance, from where the whole of the brewery can be seen. A good place to go to sample their beer range, which is from good to great, or pick up bottles for take away. We were treated really well at the RBSG. If I’m in SF again on a Friday I want to come back.

These guys were very gracious hosts for RBSG, and made sure we had a good time. basically just a brewery warehouse setup, but with a small bar and stage for live music. All of their regular beers were on, plus some special kegs and casks for the day. Even though I’m pretty neutral toward their beers, the brewers are great guys and I would definitely stop in again.

RBSG 09. The guys took great care of us and put on lots of their special beers! Only food was popcorn but that went well as i sampled their beers. Beers were free to us, but were $3 pints to people who came for their tasting
