Beer was so so. Totally lacking in ambiance. Looked like a place that just wants to pack people in. Servers didnít know beer at all. Food was pretty good, though. Worth a stop.

Rather big brewpub in the Springfield downtown. Easy to find. 6 brews on taps. 5 regulars and 1 seasonal. Nothing out of the ordinary but nothingís wrong either.

This place has some great decor and I love the setup with the bar upstairs and a brewpub feel downstairs. It can be a great place to hang out and there are often bands playing upstairs for a reasonable cover.
The beer is good although their limited and seasonal beers are all I usually drink as none of there regulars are anything special in my opinion. Their selection of other craft beer is very limited.
The food is good but a little overpriced.
This place will also close early if their arenít enough patrons and I find that very annoying. Several times I have been in the mood to go there only to find that they closed and I have heard last call at 8:30 on a Thursday night.
All in all not a bad place and Iíll continue to support a good local company.

They make excellent beer and the food is slightly above average. Their pizza is probably the best thing on the menu and itís amazing! They donít have 8 taps, so Iím not sure why it says they do. Itís more like 6. They have 3 year-rounds and 3 rotating taps which are always the way to go.

Pretty good midwest brewpub. The atmosphere is pretty typical of your standard brewpub. Food is also pretty standard brewpub food, good but nothing out of ordinary. The beers are average to above average. Worth checking out if youíre in Springfield.

Located in downtown Springfield. It is quite large, taking up two floors. There is a lot of chrome and glass but it is not a sterile environment. In the back is the brewing operation, spotless to say the least. The place has a nice character, especially with all of the mugs over the main bar. There were a number of locals which seem to be part of the local mug club. Service was very good and the bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers they serve. They serve about 5-6 year round beers and a couple of seasonal or special brews. The menu has a good selection of pub grub or meals and there are usually daily specials to choose from. Well worth checking out if you are ever in the area.

Fine place. Sampled several beers here and ate some spectacular multi-colored nachos during my visit with some friends. Some fine blues/jazz music played as well - not too loud, though sometimes the crowd was. Overall, though, very nice ambience, good service, decent beer selection, amazing nachos, and reasonable price. Would go again.

A pretty good brewpub in Springfield, MO. It is a pretty large space with an especially large square bar. Predominantly filled with local patrons (aka mug club members). There is a decent-sized tap list that featured a few interesting styles (ASA and sour ale, I believe). I got the stout, which was very tasty and had lots of coffee notes, and the IPA which was good as well. Just got the soup to eat, but it was tasty. Overall, a good place to stop although I think Motherís Brewing Co. is more fitting for the true beer geeks.
