Not the greatest spot and the prices are high. However they do tend to stock some halfway decent items as I imagine the proximity to Monks may play a roll. Local and regional brewers are present. No mix a six, lots of bombers and sixers.

While I like the staff here (they’ve been very pleasant over the last two years while I lived in the neighborhood), they know nothing of the beer they sell, and the beer they sell is kind of run of the mill - everything sold here is also sold at the other bottle shops nearby. Way overpriced. If you want something cheaper, just walk a block south to Pine Street Deli or less than a block to Latimer Deli. That said, I usually end up buying some beer here, because I frequently buy groceries here.

This is not a great beer stop by any means but the place does have a decent selection of brews. There are always bottles of Rogue, Chimay, Ommegang, Sierra Nevada plus some other Belgians. Lately they also started getting in Elysian and Ithaca beers. Again, not a destination and don’t expect any help from the staff but you could do a lot worse for beer selection.
