A nice brewpub with a smallish bar area and a good area for eating. A nice feel with lots of wooden accents. Servers were friendly considering it was busy so early. A good number of taps available and could be had in samplers. I did not try the food on my visit but prices were great.

Stopped in during the SRBG Bus Tour 2014. They were excellent in hosting this large group. Very informative and enjoyed the tour. All of their beers were solid. Nice "neighborhood" pub.

Stop One of the day during RBSG 2014.
Kind of a small brewery with a bar area in the main entry way and a larger seating area in the back.
Not exactly sure how to categorize this place, but definitely seems to focus on old world styles from Germany and Belgium. Some American stuff, but didnít seem to be their best. Overall beer quality was just okay.
The staff were quite friendly to us and the brewer gave a bit of a talk about four of the beers that they included in our visit.

Visited during the RBSG bus tour. Square One staff were very good hosts to us. They gave us an awesome private presentation of their core beers. Nice-looking place, cool decor. House beers were all very solid examples of their respective styles. A cool place that Iíd happily visit again.

Visited on the RBSG 2014 bus tour. Friendly staff. Good selection of house beers. Beers were average to good. Nice sized bar in the front with long sit-down tables in the back room. Worth a visit if youíre nearby.

Stunning location, with an English style pub in front, nice dining in back and a courtyard. Very comfortable and suitable for any occasion. Service was pleasant and friendly. Prices were moderate and beer was decent, but nothing special. We didnít eat but they looked pretty serious about, food. A nice place to hang out, but not a must.

They could not have been more hospitable to the RBSG 2014 attendees. Owner and brewer interacted with us the entire time. Watched some World Cup soccer and drank a pint of their fantastic Single Malt Scotch Ale.

Tried 10 samplers of beers during my visit here with jcnielsen. Beer quality was lacking but the service and atmosphere were fine. Kind of a neat place, just not very good beer.

Visited here as a part of a 9-brewery weekend tour of the St. Louis beer scene. Place was very busy on a Saturday night. I like the atmosphere here and the location. We tried the 12 beers that were on tap. None of the beers were that great. Food was average but nothing spectacular. A kind of cool place to check out if you are in the area, but not worth going out of your way to visit. This was the 8th best brewery in our 9-brewery weekend.
