This is a place I’ve always wanted to visit (on June 4, 2011), it’s located behind the brewery, in front of lock #4 of the Lachine Canal. Well it is what it is, a bar terrace, no indoor facility, and some porta-potties for washroom, it’s all outdoors, about 50 or so places at the terrace, with a stage for live music. Although you can come by car, most people go there via the Lachine Canal and its bike path, that’s what I did that day. They have the usual lineup on tap (there 6 tasters for $9), plus two Du Minot ciders, but also the Raspberry Ale on tap. Their menu is very limited, but they have nachos and the BBQ burgurs, and it looks good. The draw back is there are no waitress, so you have to go to the bar and order et get your beer.

Always a great option on a nice sunny Friday after work. This is the closest thing there is to a beer garden in Montreal

Summer terrace is open daily from noon to 10pm right on the LaChine canal. Shady trees, chill jazz band playing on a Saturday, tons of cyclists like at Brasseurs de Montreal, 12$ tasting set of 6 beers plus free samples of 2 more from the friendly staff who knew her McAuslan brews. The cream ale and stout were the best of the bunch. It is a really large bright terrace with seating for hundreds of people. The perfect place for a hair of the dog chill Saturday afternoon. Great just the location isn’t that convenient to public transport.

hidden value. This place is open only in good weather and serves 5 taps of fresh beer, behind the brewery. Lots of free parking. ot too far from the Atwater Market. The 5th tap is always the seasonal, however the were going to serve the IPA later in the week and only in bottles. Basic hot dogs and fries food, everything reasonably priced. Good sized area for a tasting room, it would be good to be better sheltered. Again, out of the way somewhat for tourists unless you are visiting the Atwater market, and then connects up to the highway to get out of town.
