OK selection of craft beer on tap (40) with a good focus on local and west coast micro-brews, would be nice if they had a unique selection of bottles that changed with the season. (were not talking about Molson products either!) I don’t mind this place, they have a Beer Paddle which holds I think 4x4oz draft samples (your choice) which is a great way to try and discover something new. The food is standard Pub Grub & the service can be slow at times, the last time I was there, I waited well over 5 minutes before a server casually came over to take my order. (I want to try these great new beers, Not wait forever lol) I have friends that now refuse to go there because of rude service from the bar staff. that said in the right situation I would go there for a quick beer.

Great place located near the Commercial Dr. Skytrain stop. Large tap list of local, American and European craft beers. Samplers available, which is always a big plus. Taps rotate quite often and there is always something interesting on. Casks available once a week, too. Reasonably priced and the food is good as well.

Considering number of taps, variety of beers held is disappointing. Staff are friendly, food is decent and it has a good social atmosphere

Excellent beer list, but the food menu is a bit lacking. Ambience is minimal - but if you’re suds upped, maybe you don’t need ambience?

Not much atmosphere, but what there is, is more like a sports bar. I have nothing against sports as such, but there are more than enough sports bars in this town! A great tap selection and good bottled selection. The little food I’ve had there has been pretty standard fare. Service has been somewhat indifferent the few times I’ve been there.

Finally made it to St. Augustine’s. This place looks like an upscale sports bar. Not much atmosphere. The service and selection were good. Lots of taps of decent local brews and some from the US West Coast. Prices were better than expected but high enough to scare away some of the locals I’m sure. I enjoyed the food, although there is not a wide selection on the menu.

Great place for casks on Monday night. Good tap selection. Would be even better with a good bottle selection

Huge lists of taps and their screens let you see how much is available on taps. Great atmosphere and conveniently located.

Lots of beer on tap nice digital display and keg fullness levels. food mostly bar food. overall a nice way to spend a sunday afternoon

A very good selection of rotating taps that reflect not only Lower Mainland BC microbreweries, but also many American breweries (Dog Fish Head, Rogue, Deschutes, Lost Coast are some recent ones that come to mind). Attentive service without any attitude, but the servers often lack any knowledge of the beers being served. The restaurant has recently been updated nicely, but still doesn’t seem to know which direction it wants to go... a sports bar where people want Molson Canadian or a beer bar where people don’t want Molson Canadian. The food is standard pub grub that has had consistency problems in the past, but appears to be improving in both quality and presentation. The nachos, steak bites, and chicken quesadillas are all very good. All in all, my favorite local spot to go to since I live in the area. They have cask nights on Monday evenings.
