Visited a couple of times,once together with my parents, just before christmas, where the brewpub was decorated with a lots of "sweets". Some children went to go and try these giant pieces of "sweets", but found out that it wasn´t real.. It is a traditionel german brewpub, placed in the town square. Easy to find parking spaces. Both the food and the beers are traditionel german style, nothing unique, but nice. Friendly staff.

3 beers avalaible. All had little flaws. Diacetyl and such. Very friendly service and decent food - schnitzel. Prices are normal for northern Germany. 0,5 = 3 Euro. Fine.

Sittin on the town square, I guess this place is best enjoyed in the warmer months when you can sit outside enjoying your beer. The beer is good, but far from exceptional, but the staff were friendly and the food hearty, so I certainly enjoyed my stay. The interior is also nice, but just had a short look as the weather was too fine.

Very nice place to rest and order some dinner. Especially Sauerfleisch a traditionell northern german meal. There are mainly 3 types of beer. Its better drinking the beer in the pub than to carry it with you because there are only very expensive bottles to buy. One of the better northern german home brewing pubs.

Visited in mid-November and their Christmas beer didn’t get on until late November - too bad. So they only had 2 beers on draft and 1 only in take-away bottle. Even though the friendly and pretty waitress tried to get us permission to drink it on premises it failed, so we had to take it to the car, drink from our own glasses and return the refundable bottle, this draws down in the general service level. The food was good and reasonably priced. The place was quite busy at lunch hours. The gasthaus was quite nice, lots of wood panelling.

Nice Gasthaus in a not so interesting town. Very friendly hardworking young (and good looking) staff. The food was excellent, the beers are above average compared to other Gasthausbrauereien. I would certainly revisit if I happen to be in the neighbourhood.

In a nice old building on a nice, but unremarkable town square in an unremarkable town. This is a family restaraunt, really, with friggin’ stuffed animals on the walls as decoration. Sunday afternoon as we were there, it was full of familys and old ladies. The biergarten out back looks nice, but this isn’t really a place to hang out very long. Go only if you are in the area, but don’t make it a special trip.

Family friendly place- lot’s of familys there, lots of little kids, lots of games for kids and lots of teddybears are hanging at the reiling -. Not that smokey due to its high ceiling. Selection is for a German brewpup quite ok. Friendly service that even told us which beer should be tasted first so that the palate would not be ruined (never had that in Germany). Pub food, for me below average as the cook seems to love flavor enhancer. Decent prices.
