This place has been turned into some sort of Pirate ordeal. Canít say I was a fan. A few decent beers on tap, but nothing worth pulling up a chair for. Guess this one is bygone -- sort of like Ketchikan.

Visited on a rainy Monday lunch hour at the beginning of September, we sat by the windows and enjoyed a sampler of 4 Glacier brews on tap. Radio music (mostly honky-tonk Billy Ray and Elton John-esque melodies until Maroon 5 came on!) filled the airy atmosphere in this prettily situated 3rd floor restaurant, full of bright wood paneling and floors, a dozen or so tables scattered about the windows and the bar set into the back wall. Service was friendly and efficient. Local brews from Glacier and Alaskan were available and fairly fresh, with the IPA probably being the highlight of our foursome. We tried some crab cakes that were not exactly as tasty as they should have been for that price. Overall I enjoyed the excellent view overlooking the town (or should I say the ever-present Diamond chain stores?).

Nice little stop in Ketchikan if you can survive the jewelry stores on the way. Nice view down the street from the front door actually. Opted for a sampler of Glacier Brewhouse products and some decent but pricey crab cakes. Selection is a pretty solid selection of local products. Service was friendly enough. Worth a stop if you are in town.

Like John said good selection of Alaskan micros on tap, pretty much the only place in town that has anything outside of Alaskan Brewing. They do a four sample pack of Silver Gulch plus T-shirt for $9.99 definitely worthwhile for any visitor. Food was excellent, halibut cheek sandwich as well as one of the best chocolate fudge cakes Iíve tasted. Opened at 10 a.m. which was great since we were only there until noon. Beats anything in Ketchikan or Sitka by a long stretch.
