Nice place with big patio right by waterfront station with view of Canada ave or whatever it is. Beer is ok. Taster flights are cheap at $7. Nice for a quick stopover.

A corporate feel and only above average beers. Worth visiting but if pushed for time head for the nearby Alibi for better choice, quality and atmosphere!

Visited here when we arrived in Vancouver on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The place was fairly crowded but we didn’t have to wait for a table. There is a large bar area on the right, a large restaurant area on the left, and more tables and a bar in the basement. There is also a patio that had heaters blasting. Ten taps, and the two beers we tried were both very good. The place is well-staffed, and our waiter was very friendly. The food was solid but overpriced. Overall, this is a very solid brewpub that seems to be a bit underrated. Definitely worth a visit if you’re spending some time in Vancouver.

Great locationa dn they always have good beer. Servers are friendly, and there’s always room every time I’ve gone there (no waiting).

Nice craft brewpub with 8 samplers for 13$ plus tip. Mediocre beer quality, but food is nice and worth it. 5+ tv screens that shows F1, 2 baseballgames and others.

Originally reviewed: 5/5/09. The wife and I were up visiting Vancouver for a few days and thought I’d check this place out. Stopped in for lunch. Decent view of the historic street on one end of the place and an alright view of the harbour on the other end. The place is set up almost nicely with 2 bars, and they are soon adding a third. Service was great, as the waiters knew the beer they they carried. The food selection was stellar! This was the best offerings I’ve seen in a brewpub. I was very impressed. My wife got an open-faced turkey sandwich with a salad, that was very good; and I got a lamb burger with fries. This was excellent! The beer selection for this time was pretty average, with 5 or 6 of their normal offerings and 1 seasonal, a Belgian Wit. I got their Empress IPA which was pretty good. I should have gotten their sampler as I most likely will never be back to this area any time soon. Ah well. I really enjoyed this place and would recommend it to anybody.

great location and large space. Staff friendly, and attentive enough considering the volume of customers. Food is consistent, tasty and decently priced for quantity/quality. Beer selection is "meh", and pricey for what you get. As a local, I don't go there unless visited by out-of-towners that are craft beer virgins and are curious about a bit tastier beers than macros. A commendable move by Steamworks to further boast craft beer, they opened Rogue Wetbar, which does carry a better domestic and more commercial craft selection.

En voyage d’affaire à Vancouver. Bonne ambiance, belle place. La bière n’est pas impressionnante mais le service était bon.
