Wonderful little place that is well worth the trek to visit. Easily the best beer store in Birmingham with a great variety of Belgians and of course the UKís finest. Extremely friendly service who showed a passion for beers and satisfying the customer - got a complimentary Brewdog glass for my purchase. Highly recommended a visit if youíre in the vicinity.

Superb selection of European, American and British ales together with very good range of beer glasses. Owner and son friendly and interested in beer. Maybe best off license in Birmingham. Highly recommended!

Update. Recently doubled their beers. Owner and son are really friendly and always happy to have a chat. Worth the slight detour from the city centre. English beers were a bit slacking, but a full Brewdog selection, Flying Dog and Goose Island and a a vast selection of Belgium and German. Winner.

By far the best offie I have been to in terms of selection. Great import section. The only place in Brum with a good selection of Belgian and German beers.

Made one of my annual visits in March 2011. Range is even better than before with the owners son who is very enthusiastuic driving it forward. Usual selection of British including the wonderful Brew Dog plus some foreign including Americans. Friendly helpful and not to be missed if you are in Birmingham. Has an active page on Face Book

Best off-licence for beer Iíve found in Birmingham - very good selection of beer spread across wide area, UK, Europe and beyond. Good range of Belgian abbey beers, lambics and so on. Nice balance between classics and more obscure choices. Guy who runs it is very friendly, knows his stuff, and open about whatís coming in. Easy to get to, and definitely not one to miss.

Excellent little off licence. Phoned beforehand to check on range and any rareities and informed that they had all three varities of the Thornbridge Alliance result! got these and some Bracia and prices were also very fair in fact Alliance at £6.49 a bottle is possibly a steal. Really lovely owner and his son were very proud of their business been their since the mid seventies. Its well laid out and has a healthy range of mostly UK and Belgian with some US beers, wish I had more time in there but it was just a quick visit.

Why canít all off-licences be like this: over a hundred unusual, interesting beers from Britain, Europe and the rest of the world? The proprietor told me heíd been in the speciality beer business for thirty years and clearly knows his subject. A range of about thirty Belgian beer glasses, including the iconic Pawel Kwak.

This is definitely the best Off-Licence in Birmingham. They stock a very comprehensive range of bottled beers, ranging from Belgian beer to British real ales. If they havenít got something you want theyíll order it in for you, no problem. Only minutes from the city centre and itís just around the corner from Cadburyís World.
