Went here with Raith. Really cool place. Saturday afternoon it was packed, but we still got a place at the bar and sampled about 15 fantastic beers, pretty cheap. Really helpful servers. Great beer. Didn’t have the food, but it looked great. Worth the trip for a day out of the city.

The misses and I made our way out to SD for beer week. This our first time to the brewery and this rating might be a bit biased as we’re here for the Rare Beer Breakfast. Really nice beer line up with bottles of Hommage, Rodenbach, 3 Fonteinen, and local beers. Fantastic artisanal food prepared by chefs. Perfect weather, great staff. Incredible place. The garden is unbelievable...

Huge but quite nice atmosphere. Crowded but not too noisy. Loads of beers, for instance I had Stone Bourbon Barrel RIS on bottle here. Lots of beers from Stone, but also a lot of guest beers. Very good, a must visit, but I actually prefer the place at Liberty Station.

Stopped in on Stashtoberfest. Great crowd, even greater atmosphere. Started out at the bar, had a flight, then grabbed a table and a quick meal. Service was awesome, so was the food. The place is huge indoors and outdoors. Another great tap list. Well worth the stop.

Stopped here on my recent craftbeer tour of Greater San Diego. Coming from the east coast...this place is all you hear about...but after a couple of days hanging out in SD before I got here...many of the locals said to skip it altogether. The review of "jrallan34" from 7/4/14 is mostly correct and explains what most of the locals were talking about. Nonetheless, I wasn’t going to leave town without deciding for myself. Well no one disagrees the place is beautiful...and my high point was being able to drink a draft Pliney and Blind Pig side by side for the first time (only second time I’d had each)...ironic of course that my best memory there was of someone else’s beer. Bottom-line...good food...good beer...great ambiance...inside and out...but expensive...not many special Stone beers...and more of a restaurant then a craftbeer place. Still...a must stop for any craftbeer traveler.
