Itís like an adult Disneyland. Except for its location and the lack of signage this place is almost perfect. Great ambiance, great service and a large IPA centric tap list. Make the trip, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice place, although it feels like Stone has outgrown its craft beer beginnings when you get here. The foodís good, not great, the draft and bottle selection is nice but not stellar, and the bottles for purchase was pretty much standard fare.

Vety nice setting where can choose to sit in a lovely garden or inside with a view over the brewery.
Perfectly fine food and a great selection of draft and bottled beer

Huge! A lot of area, inside and out. Very well-patronized establishment. Cool, shaded, beautiful walkway bordered by bamboo and othe tall foliage. Outdoor patio, bar, and garden that allows patrons to enjoy food and beverage in the gorgeous sunshine and nature. Beer and food selection are incredible and various. Service is the product of training and experience. There was one short bar tender at the outside bar who was less than pleased about his job, but everyone else was helpful, patient, and kind. Bathrooms can be a bit small for the crowd this place draws. Parking is adequate and valet is available.

This place is in kind of an industrial area, but once you walk up to the front, you forget it. Itís a beautiful facility, modern, open, with lots of gardens and places to sit and enjoy. The service was prompt and the bartenders were pretty knowledgeable. The selection was fantastic, with lots of rare beers on tap and a worldwide bottled selection. I only wish they had more than 6 of their own beers on tap! The value was impressive, with half pints available on all taps, and reasonable prices for imports. Overall, this was a great place to visit, if it did feel just a tad "disney".

Been coming here mostly for festivals but also random stops when in SD since 2007. Actually my first stop here ever was a very short one on 070707 because the power went out shortly before I arrived.
The beer lineup is usually quite good. On anniversary party days if you dont want to spend the money on tickets to the fest you can try half a dozen years of anniversary beers on tap. Winter Storm is a great event for trying a bunch of other vintage stuff (Old Guardian, IRS, Vertical Epic) and the festivals (Sour Fest, Oakquinox, and probably Pour It Black) are a good time as well. At some point recently theyíve expanded the number of taps to a ridiculous number. They also usually have some good guest taps going as well.
Service can be very hit or miss. Actually more like decent or miss. Good service is hard to come by here. Some of the bartenders are friendly but usually the best youíll get is a neutral experience. If you get unlucky or ask the wrong question youíll get ignored or get some asshole response. The food is pretty good but very expensive. I love coming here for the beer but I do my best not to interact with the help.

Nearly impossible to find due to the lack of a sign. No sign. At all. Nothing. Come on.
On the inside is a huge bar which spills out into a beautiful garden with a walking path and plenty of nice areas to sit and have a beer.
Large tap list, with lots of great beer from other breweries as well. Big bottle list too, but itís pretty pricey. I was with my wife and son and they loved the place and wanted to come back. Attached is a stone company store with lots of expensive stuff ,several beer and a tasting room. The brewery tours fill up fast, so get on one early.

Thereís no sign anywhere, not even on the door or building, and we drove past it twice. (Turn at the brown "trailhead parking" sign). Indoors is as overly commercialized as a theme attraction at Epcot; everything is rock and concrete, rusted metal, rough-hewn wood... with an incongruous Zen/bamboo water feature in the middle. We sat at the indoor bar and so got pretty good service- the outdoor bar is pretty small with patrons swarming like a feeding frenzy. The whole time there was some awful synth-rave garbage thumping from ceiling speakers. I thought it odd that with the enormous number of taps and bottles, only 4 or 5 were under 7+%abv. Gift shop is pretty effing expensive. Just seemed to be more geared to a spring break mob scene than somewhere to chill with a good beer. The outdoors is nice and green, albeit crowded; indoors is like a spacious dungeon. I just donít get the appeal. But if you want to yell to be heard and drop lots of cash to get a quick buzz, this place is for you.
