Quite an amazing decor in this place...nice tap selection with many guest brews. Also a decent bottle list - we ordered a Speedway for our table. Food a bit pricey, I think the burger was about 17 bucks. Go for the beer and the scenery. Def worth a visit.

What makes SBWBaG so special is itís ridiculous awesomeness. The grandiose, arrogant (if you will) concept. Turn a shitty dirt hill into a relaxing, comfortable world class destination. With gardens and a pond, which after the sun sets on a warm sunny day comes alive with countless frogs chirping. Eat world class food, drink world class beer. Take a brewery tour, fill a growler, buy a shirt, hot sauce, or a dog bone from spent grains. San Diegoís beer scene and breweries are in a class all of itís own. But in most of these breweries you are sitting in a converted warehouse which only has food if there is a food truck waiting outside. Once you step inside Stone you are in no hurry to leave.

Like Liberty Station this place just leaves my wondering what people are thinking when giving their rankings. Yes, its is a world class beer garden, hell its probably the most beautiful yard Iíve ever seen, but this isnít a landscaping competition. By the way, the astro turf grass is just weird. My problem with Stone is the beer. Guys, have stuff on tap that isnít already distributed all over the world, and if you donít make sure its make better on tap than in the bottle, which it isnít. Liberty Station actually had more beers that arenít readily available. There wasnít one new beer on draft I havenít had, thatís crazy. Guest drafts were boring. A huge bottle list, but nothing special. Food is excellent and fresh. This is a restaurant that has beer and should be visited and reviewed as such.

Wow, what a great place for food and beer. The selection of on tap Stone beers is a bit limite and disappointing, but thereís a long list of world class beers available in bottles in case they are needed Innovative gourmet food menu. Friendly service. Excellent venue. Go if you can.

Visited a few times while in San Diego. Stoneís location is unbelievable with its awesome inside and outside location that includes an awesome garden environment. The food and service are world class which is to be expected for Stone and their reputation. The beer selection is always quite good with their own selection plus others. Great place to visit to enjoy some food and beer and a must visit location while in San Diego.

Stone world bistro in Escondido is an absolute compound. Beer lovers paradise. The food is excellent, the architecture and gardens are beautiful and not overly gaudy. Excellent place to walk through the garden and enjoy a beer. Their store is excellent and provides a beer nerd with plenty of cool stuff to take home.

I finally made it out to San Diego a few weeks ago, and boy was it worth it! This place is beautiful. The food is amazing, the staff are some of the most friendly people I have ever met. The beer selection is phenomenal; the beer menu is larger than the food menu! My only regret is that I wasnít able to take home any of this yearís Quingenti Millitre series, but that just means I will have to make another trip back! I want to spend eternity here.

This place is spectacular. No sign as far as I could tell, drove by a few times, but once I got out of the parking lot the smell was unmistakably brewery. After walking through the jungle entry point, and through the store and inside area, the gardens blew me away. Incredible. Could spend days there sitting in different areas and come away with a different vibe. Lots of both Stone and guest taps, food was great, service spot on. Absolutely nothing bad to say, easily one of the best places to drink beer Iíve ever seen.

Just like liberty station, its visually stunning, giant stones, fountains, nice outside bar. Good food, excellent service, decent tap and bottle list, bottles are a bit on the high end in price. A must see if you are in the area.
