I didnít realize until I got there but this is across the street from Gordon Biersch. Also, behind the Gordon Biersch is a small public parking lot. Parking isnít exactly easy in Burbank but if you avoid trying to park on the street it isnít bad, even during playoff season. Story Tavern seems a bit divey for something on San Fernando which is a pedestrian mall of sorts. Not run down or anything but kind of British looking without many decorations, no windows, and some quiet regulars.

That said the tap list is pretty decent. Stone Double Bastard and Old Guardian, Ommegang Adoration, Hebrew Jewbelation, Sierra Celebration, North Coast Old Stock and Grand Cru, AleSmith YuleSmith, Anchor OSA, Nice Chouffe, and a few more. The service was also very good. Immediately upon entering a guy came up to me and told me that unfortunately they were out of my beer. I was confused but then remembered that I was wearing a Yeti shirt. We got to talking about Great Divide and how the Broncos were beating the crap out of the Chargers (I guess LA folk are Chargers fans). I think I like it here. Itís a bit of a break from the high society that is Glendale/Burbank. My problem is the pricing which hovers around $8 per glass. Ugh.
